So let me recap for you, idiot - there are cancer patients whose treatment plans have effectively been dropped and there are cancer patients who still won't be properly insured to get treatment.

Until you walk those shoes, you can effectively shut up.

Oh, and one last thing: I just visited HuffPo where people are condemning another similar article and asking what's wrong with unlimited health care and no penalties for pre-existing. Yet, in the very link they cited for the individual policy is the fine print - not all health care will be covered, anything not covered is the responsibility of the insured and, oh yeah, the contract didn't apply to pre-existing conditions (turns out there are some limitations).

There is also the sob story of those with pre-existing who could NEVER get insurance. Funny - any job with corporate America will take you, even with a pre-existing condition.

None of you - and I mean none of you completely ill-informed maroons should be allowed to vote.

This thread name is a joke, and a spin on blame for epic failure.

Obama, Reid, and Pelosi, and entire Democratic Senate own Obamacare 100%.

Not a single GOP voted in favor of this monstrosity, and the GOP voted to repeal it 40 times.

2014 election is going to eliminate the Democratic party's ability to pass bills without reading them 1st.

America is going to abort the morons and corrupt Democrat politicians in office that wasted billions of dollars signing up 5 million people for Obamacare. Less than 1% of the population has signed up.

because Obama did do it, and is on the campaign trail now trying to get sheep signed up.

even running television ads to the sheep with stars for sign up to Obamacare has failed.

Proof is lazy people won't do anything, even when it is free.

Expect November to have a new Senate placed in January that will erase Obamacare, because they don't want the American people hurt in 2017 after the Presidential election.

If this is so good for America......why all the delays and exclusions for special interest groups?

You are crazier than a loon, and clearly didn't click on any of the links I provided. It's no secret that Obamacare wasn't going to help cancer patients, as I stated oh-so-long-ago. But since you didn't want to see what would have proved you wrong, perhaps you'd like to try this on for size:
__________
Some of best cancer hospitals off limits under Obamacare
WASHINGTON — Some of America’s best cancer hospitals are off-limits to many of the people now signing up for coverage under the nation’s new health care program.
Doctors and administrators say they’re concerned. So are some state insurance regulators.
An Associated Press survey found examples coast to coast. Seattle Cancer Care Alliance is excluded by five out of eight insurers in Washington’s insurance exchange. MD Anderson Cancer Center says it’s in less than half of the plans in the Houston area. Memorial Sloan-Kettering is included by two of nine insurers in New York City and has out-of-network agreements with two more.
In all, only four of 19 nationally recognized comprehensive cancer centers that responded to AP’s survey said patients have access through all the insurance companies in their states’ exchanges.

No, you completely dodged the information.
THE HEALTH CARE EXCHANGES OUT OF POCKET LIMITS ARE ONLY FOR COVERED EXPENSES. THE HEALTH CARE EXCHANGES DO NOT COVER ALL TREATMENTS AND PRESCRIPTIONS. ANYTHING NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE MEANS THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR 100% OF THE COST WHICH MEANS THAT FOR SOME CANCER PATIENTS, THEY COULD STILL END UP BANKRUPT.
JHC, you're a feckin' idiot.

and more stupidity by Che.

As a country the past 5 years we have wasted 100's of billions of dollars on Obamacare.

and your point exactly.......nothing changed except more people lost insurance than have signed up for epic failure Obamacare.

deductibles on insurance remains..........pay up sweetie.

sheep will get loans to fix their cars, max out a credit card with stuff, and complain when they must pay for your own body's maintenance.

Does Obamacare cover tires and oil changes too, or is Nancy Pelosi going to say she forgot to include that chapter of Obamacare, and her Rolls Royce is a perk guaranteed by Obamacare.

nobody read it, so who can say Nancy is lying?

That was point but the OP is spinning it as all expense paid insurance. It isn't. It does put a cap on what is covered but there is much that isn't covered that the patient bears responsibility for.

If you are concerned about others, you would be pleased that people who didn't have access to insurance before, now do.

At the expense of:

1 - others losing theirs
2 - no doctors/medical facilities in the local area willing to be on the health exchanges, thereby rendering it worthless
3 - high deductibles keeping people from going to the doctor
4 - cancer patients being dumped by specialty cancer hospitals

And that's just for starters, loon.

1) Others losing theirs was predominately the result of either those people having complete crap policies so they were losing practically nothing or them living in states that chose not to accept federal money and join the exchanges or expand their Medicaid.

2) Doctors and medical facilities are not on the "health exchanges." Insurance companies are. This one statement proves how horrifically misinformed you are about this whole matter.

3) Again, you don't think high deductibles existed prior to 2012? Be honest.

4) See number 3.

These anecdotes about people not getting coverage and not getting treatment have been around for ages. The problem now is what it has always been, we have a health care system in this country driven by capitalism. But no one wants to do anything about that, because the lust for the dollar is more important than your health. And you just continue to get played.

What a disagrace! People go and get educations and skills, paying dearly for them, and they expect a return on that investment by going into medicine! Oh the horror!!!

I wasn't referring to the doctors, dear heart. Even so, somehow country's that have socialized medicine still have good doctors. Isn't that amazing?

I see a grammar error. I won't inform you what it is.

Unfortunately, we have capitalism.

And doctors align themselves here with specific medical providers....don't know about you, but I have gone to hospitals and medical facilities where my preferred docs practice. Seems to me it makes much more sense to go to someone you have a relationship with OR are referred to, instead of picking someone, and playing a lotto game, based on what an Obamacare policy dictates. You do realize, darlin', that folks also can and do research the background on their docs before choosing them. Why should they be limited if they know they can find someone who is more likely to help them?

They aren't limited my dear if they investigate those things before purchasing a plan. Again, what you complain of is a vagrancy of health insurance and existed well before 2013. You didn't complain then because it was caused by the beauty of capitalism. You whine now because you believe it is something that President Obama created.
