so according to you BB, the tea party shut down the government.

Totally on the Tea Party. For having such few numbers they sure do have a lot of power.
Who does George Soros fund? Tea Party?
Who does Hollywood fund? Tea Party?
Are Sean Penn and Jane Fonda tea party?
Everywhere I turn on these threads all this bs is blamed on the Tea Party. I didn't realise they had so much power with so few numbers.
And to think 24 billion dollars it cost the US economy could have went to one of Oblamers favourite charities, muzlim brotherhood but no the tea partiers had to shut down the government. How am I doing with your leftist socialist bureau of disinformation. Am I getting the hang of it?
Tea Party. Everywhere I go, no matter what topix, I am accused of being tea party. I believe in the Constitution of the United States and being governed totally by it, making me an American Constitutionalist which baraq has figuratively pissed on it because he ain't a Constitutionalist.
I am looking forward to February. Have a tea party day.
No, no, no! I think both parties were at fault, and tea party members are the ones that are bucking up against their own GOP members. No one is working together to solve a problem. How can anything get solved if a party is at odds within itself?
I am an Independent!
If you're a tea supporter, that's your prerogative. I respect other peoples opinions and likes and dislikes, and I expect the same in return. I am not looking forward to Feb, but I just may have a hot cup of tea and watch the second act of the debacle......you can join me if you like.....tea and crumpets! LOL

A Hispanic guy came into the bank today and just started up a conversation with the teller...a blonde Anglo woman...in Spanish. It was clear he was a regular customer there. I joined in talking about the weather and such. He remarked that in coming years more regular Americans will be bilingual...as Hispanic culture takes on more an more. I told him to keep it up. Better food; better music; better everything.

Amen. I think Cruz was acting in a way he believed his constituency expected, after all, they voted him in. There really is no such thing a representative republic without some dissent and division. Just my thinking. George Washington had the same idea. http://www.cnn.com/2013/10/16/opinion/alexand... . This situation has gotten out of control I think.

But yes, the Repubs are divided. I'm not registered either D or R myself. There are "liberal" issues I don't really care about.

I'm tired of this government nonsense. I work for the federal government...and not being one of those on furlough but dealing with the internal politics. This is sucking the life out of me! Work for me was usually fun, not so not. I may eventually join you for tea and crumpets after all of this "reorganizing" and "budgetary stuff" gets done at the federal level...just because it may be I am one of those on furlough. Not sure if I'll complain about it. I may enjoy the quiet time LOL.

I'm so glad that you didn't capitulate to Gonad's tirade like most of the thoughtless lemmings seem to do, no matter how much the GOPTP flounder and stumble in the darkness. Stay independent! You'll really continue to. "think independently" . Congrats!!

Goooood Eeeeeevening!
I didn't know you work for the gov. It must be tense to be on the alert everyday wondering if tomorrow you'll report to work. Don't let it get to you. Not worth it, mentally and health wise.
Just put yourself in the "work mode" when you're there then as soon as you walk out the door......go into the "ME" mode! Screw 'em!
I see why you do a lot of walking....lol
I would live to join you for a beverage, but we live so far from each other. Lol
Maybe one day........=~
