This is not an academic publication, and copy/paste is not plagiarism because George has never claimed it as his own.

MLK did plagiarize, even though the system would rather that not be said.

It is widely agreed that MLK Jr did in fact plagiarize his thesis.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Luther_Ki...
There are also arguments that he got the benefit of grade inflation in Boston, as he was an average student at Morehouse.
Too bad for you and your ilk that MLK WON'T be remembered for a thesis, but instead he's known worldwide for nonviolence approach to bigotry and racism [ which takes a whole lot more tolerance to accomplish] and his 'I have a dream' speech in D.C.

Malcolm X told the bigots of that time on national television that they could either deal with Martin and his nonviolent ways, or deal with the 'break your hand if you slap me' approach of the Nation of Islam.

So what! What's your point? What he said to the nation was from his very soul. Who gives a shyt about a thesis or dissertation!

Because he was a socialist fraud that created the political discourse that only massive government transfers would create equality.

I doubt if any of those buildings were owned by the teens who set them ablaze. The owners got a nice payout if they had insurance. A people with low self worth will destroy things around them without thinking about the aftermath. Sad but true. I believe in the more direct approach, if you will. Whoever caused the hurt, pain, and suffering it's those who need attended to.
It's like using a scalpel instead of a butchers knife.
Without the Romans, Europe would've stayed in tribalism and barbarians for at least a thousand years longer.

That's interesting, you praising imperialism.

Perhaps if Africa was still owned by the empires, the problems would be far less...

Why are there water bills in a world that is two-thirds water.

-MLK Jr

Now your basic 5th grader can tell you why this statement is incredibly dumb. But it is part of the speech "where do we go from here" that King Jr presented to the SCLC.

Try the other definition of the word "scholarship." Carumba.

(I went to college with a high school dropout who was on a full academic ride and earned his PhD from University of Virginia. The world is bigger than your little stereotyped head.)

This line of discussion is interesting, because it seems to closely parallel the coming revolution/civil war that Muphy, George and Tony seem to think is coming. They can point to no groups actually planning or organizing, but rather believe that there are fringe groups who stand likely to rise up in (un-organized) violence in response to some perceived threat or other.

Riots that ocurred in the 60's, or the LA Riots later on, really need to be viewed as distinctly different from other, far more thoughtful and well organized efforts of peaceful non-cooperation with unjust laws and policies.

The factors that sparked the LA Riots were real, and had roots far deeper than Rodney King and the verdict of not guilty handed down against the police. Police brutality aimed at minorities was a well-known fact of life. One of the benefits of R. King's articulate nature is that in his later days, prior to his death, he was able to describe how, even in his impaired state, he knew once he was stopped what was likely coming his way.

However, outbursts, such as the LA Riots--while alarming and very likely to spark change of some sort--are hard to classify as being revolutionary, as the changes resulting are as likely to be punitive as they are redemptive. And there is no one in charge to help shape the discussion.

but those that got straight A's from families that earned over $50,000 had to pay 100% of college education themselves.

Carumba is correct.

we reward bad behavior; and punish those who succeed in fairness?

in the animal kingdom the animals reward below average animals with a lunch where they are served as the main course.

good thing your buddy from college was not an animal.

should we ban animals?

Liberals always want to bring achievers in all walks of life down to the level of the rabble. Just look at what they did to pious people after the sexual revolution was imposed on everybody by their Jewish masters. The wheels have absolutely fallen off as people prioritize pleasure over their obligations.

Save it for the fourth graders. I appreciated Dr. King too, but on nonviolence approach against people who want to see you and your children dead, nope. I'd rather die on my feet fighting than die on my knees at the end of an enemies barrel. Mankind, left to itself, is an evil, rebellious, callous, and violent creation. There's no evolution of mankind into a nonviolent sentient being. Since the beginning of man on this earth there has been bloodshed, and until the ultimate supreme power and authority comes to enforce righteousness, nothing will get better, only worse as time lags into the future.

Martin said," I have a dream", and basically that's all it was! People of color the world over are at war with themselves and with white nations. Bloods vs. Crips, Muslims vs. non Muslims, Sunni muslims vs. Shiite muslims, All muslims vs. Hindus, Catholics vs. Protestants, and so on.
The world is imperfect, flawed, violent, and suicidal. When I see those Coexist stickers on the back of those clueless head in the sand idealist, I just shake my head and think, you fool, you don't even realize what planet you're on.

Something is going on though on a whole different level. I saw a YouTube footage where ALL the worlds religious leaders and Heads of States, paid homage to the Pope of Rome! I said, Oh shyt! These people bowed and kissed his ring! The anti-christ is here and some wicked shyt is about to happen. There was even a Muslim Imam that is the religious leader of 15 Islamic nation conference, bowing and putting his forehead on the Pope's hand! A f'kin Muslim!
The shyt is about to hit the fan!

Conditions in Europe and around the world will soon dictate that a single great authority must be given power for a short time. Much is written of the beast, and events surrounding its appearance, but little is understood of what the Bible actually reveals about this powerful, dominant governing system, eventually united under two men.

Well, RS, I am beginning to agree.

For whatever reason, your logic is disintegrating.

Are you suggesting that having an income below $50,000/year is bad behavior?

no....but dropping out of high school was bad behavior.

and then becoming a leach on society for the individuals own bad choices is bad behavior, receiving a full ride plus expenses college education for bad behavior, when a straight A student of a 50K income family will get ZERO assistance except interest rate.

and then laughing about it; and throwing it in the face of someone who is forced to fund the programs annually, is also bad behavior.

you may want to read, then apply logic prior to posting a reply.
