Nukes are like farts. They all stink, but you'd much rather deal with your own "explosion" than one from anybody else.

Is that why Obama wants Hagel as Secretary of Defense?

Hussein is living up to his name. The crazy thing is that the Blacks still slavishly support him though he has done far, far more for gays than his loyal Blacks.

Well now there is a solid basis for foreign policy, isn't it?

Every bit as solid as blaming a silly YouTube video for the deaths of four Americans.

Foreign policy magazine is run by Republicans?

I doubt it.

Right.

All the rest of those demonstrations never happened, did they?

Actually, no they didn't until 36 hours later. Meanwhile, the DoD had live footage from drones and CATV as well as request from CIA and Embassy officials that showed an attack was happening.

I guess Hillary was correct, what difference does it make, 4 people are dead because the government failed to recognize that a US embassy in a war torn land with known Al Qaeda operatives would need extra security on the anniversary of 9/11 or to provide proper assistance when it was known there was a problem. I mean the facts wouldn't ever be helpful in making sure it doesn't happen again would they?

You are absoulutely right. What difference does the motivation for the attack make? From what I saw, the major outrage from congress is over whether the White House/CIA was wrong about the motivation of the attackers. Maybe that is because congress refused to authorize funds for updated security at those outposts and outrage about that would get congress in the soup too.

Demonstrations in Egypt were already going on. Recall that Romney made reference to them immediately following the Benghazi killings--making the accusation that alleged apologies to the protesters in Egypt were responsible for the Benghazi killings.

They are also pumped up by folks at home with a variety of conspiracy theories that have been floated about this having been a staged attack--by Obama--that backfired. They cannot lay this stuff on the table without sounding as stupid as the tea partiers who made it up. But, they are afraid that if they don't show a tough face they will be taken out by a right-winger in a primary.

I heard accusations that they went easy on Hillary Clinton.
