I knew Brian, my best friend dated him for four years, we are all shocked and a mess over this, I never thought he would hurt anyone, especially someone he didn't know, and I wonder if he is capable how is my best friend still here, I feel blessed I still have her, and I know she feels quilty in a sense because she survived four years and this poor woman 19 years old that he only knew him a day lost her life, it's been a while now, but my heart goes out to all the families and friends involved. I am so sorry too Caitlin's and Brian's family. My god be with you all, Caitlin did not deserve this.

Maybe your friend did not do anything to annoy the guy, such as using rambling run-on sentences.

There isn't a day that goes by I don't think of Caitlin. My prayers go out to all offf her family and friends that continue to love, miss and remember this child. I can't express my sorrow for your loss. I dated him for 4 years during my later teenage years. He was mentally unstable, controling, and things got physical more then once. He busted my eardrum. His temper and mentality scared me to death... I knew the monster he could be. In that sense I am VERY lucky I was able to leave and not look back. My only regret is not knowing but only suspecting what he was capable of and not being able to, or know how to prevented this poor giirls murder. Again my thoughts and prayers are with Caitlins family and friends. Love, Sarah
