Cancer patients relieved that they can get insurance coverage because of the new health care law may be disappointed to learn that some the nation's best cancer hospitals are off-limits.

And some aren't. Here's a hint. If you want to go to that cancer center, buy the insurance that covers it.

That doesn't refute my post in the slightest bit.

The point, which you missed, is that they aren't covered on ANY of the exchange plans which is why lawsuits are being prepared. As for me, I'll be happy to tell you that most people were adequately covered under their employer and the health exchanges as a fix for the non-insured are a disaster. The government didn't need to interfere with them, did they?

I spoke to someone last night who went on the exchanges and found out that her facility is no longer covered. The facility encouraged her to remain uninsured because it is not a good idea to stop treatment mid-stream and switch providers. So, she will remain uninsured and those who are insured will pick up the tab via cost-shifting.

That simply isn't true.

I spoke to someone last night who didn't have insurance before and now has the best possible insurance available. See how that works?
