You really think old Slick will be alive in eight years? He's in roughly the cardiac shape Cheney was in a five years ago.

I'm talking about Clinton's heart. He's terminal by many accounts.
Limbaugh has no heart issues. And he's certainly no larger than Clinton was in 1999.

Nah, her lust for power is more important to her than her loyalty to anyone.

It's called toss that computer out the window and observe a bit of mental silence, Reader.
"Controlling" your urges has a huge component of self-awareness and conscious behavior... bit hint there. Physical addictions occur, but they can be addressed. It's after the physical/chemical problems are addressed that people refuse to (or too afraid to) address the behavioral component. Abstinence is an unusual word in your vocabulary, no? Can't use abstinence in a sexual context...now you apply it in an addictive context?

She was not calling you anything and it is much milder than what you said to me, which I've forgotten the thread anyway.

I don't think she was addressing your behavior directly anyway, rather the whole liberal idea that providing birth control and abortions on demand is the only answer to the sinking morality of this country.

The country and the individual would be much better served by instilling, and this has to start at home, self control and responsibilty in order to avoid unplanned pregnancies.

It then has to be further promoted by providing positive role models, both at home, and not Snooki and Honey Boo Boo. And by the government standing up and saying murder is wrong, we are shutting down the abortion mills and abortion is again a crime that will be prosecuted unless medically necessary to save a life.

But that is not going happen. No one has the spine to do it and libs like you would be screaming and marching 'war on women. Taking away our rights. Gender bias.'

No one marches for the hundreds of millions of babies who have committed no sin and have no say.

We do, but the broadcast media refuses to cover it.

You do realize that a nightly news show is only 30 minutes with commercials, right? There has to be some editorial discretion. Considering the same march has been going on for 40 years, at some point it falls down the list of priorities.

Yet oddly enough, the annual march in Selma is shown every year, and that's great. But it doesn't draw 10%(and that's being generous) of the crowd the the March for Life does (and that's just the DC March; there are hundreds that day.)

Another lame, pathetic attempt at victimhood, Reader.

Try again, this time in context. Is always about your insecurities?

Well, then, perhaps you would care to elaborate on what exactly you WERE talking about.

Or not.

Really not terribly interested in trading more insults.

I'm not interested in insulting you. Again, read for context.

"Abstinence" in drug use vs. "abstinence" in sexuality.

Both required to live a sane, healthy, emotionally well life. Both require forethought, self-awareness, and the ability to SAY NO. It the opposite of a life of dependency and neediness.

Period. Do I always have to spell it out for you? Don't answer, I know that answer, but out there for chuckles and grins and reminder for reading for comprehension rather than self-defensive attacks.

Doesn't matter how many ways and times anyone tries to explain it to her. She absolutely cannot think in a way that promotes total self reliance and responsibility.

Consequences for poor decisions are looked upon as an opportunity and a reason to be pitied.

Morals are an unnecessary encumbrance, quilt a non-existent emotion and excuse a lifelong occupation.

“Meh.”

Sorry to respond with so little outrage but the idea that people with small lives are small people draws as little shock as the news that water is wet or that ice remains cold.

everyone here having advanced college degrees and all..........

what do you suppose the end result of the Democratic Congress not taking a vote to extend the resolution to keep Govt from shutting down?

The Dems blame it on republicans?

well when commercials with actual legislature that would have prevented such closure is aired with dates, and the games the Democrats played with the lives of the people who voted then in office should be priceless.

2014 is just another liberal fantasy.
