I guess they can't be as outstanding as they are out in "Terre Haute, IN" where ever the hell that is. Maybe you should take a day trip to Chicago and get a feel for there police force.

Thanks for all the details. Here's a thought instead of being the first to break the news, why not be the first to give a detailed well written story. Maybe even have someone proofread before you publish it??

Sad to hear. We need more good people in the police force. To the first person that commented, NRA, you are ignorant. I personally know people on the CPD force who are amazing people and wonderful officers who care about the city and the people in it. No matter what town, city, state, or country, there will be corrupt people, there will be bad people. That does not mean all of them are bad. I am thinking of one officer in particular who is an absolute asset to the CPD. He is an amazing person and he truly loves his job and cares about the people of Columbus. We need a billion more officers like the man I am talking about.

Why is that when one officer possibly does something wrong the entire force is bad??

I would put Columbus Police up against any other police force nationwide, and they would be as good as any other department.

First the RPD patrolman gets busted by CPD on the hooker/dancer that he robbed and now, RPD is on a CPD officer. There is FAR MORE corruption and crime committed by the COLUMBUS POLICE DEPARTMENT that most others around the country, Corruption, criminal activity, domestic violence. Feds should shut them down, hire NEW chiefs and then go to work weeding out the dicks that give that department a BAD name.

Seems obvious to me. Earlier today a meth lab was busted after an "ongoing investigation" by Reynoldsburg police. Now, a CPD officer is arrested after an "ongoing investigation" by Reynoldsburg police.

WHAT A RETARD!!! Why not just pull over a cruiser and kiss a cops ****? CPD is CORRUPT and has some of the most high strung, racist and LOW IQ officers in the US today. They STRIVE to bust misdemeanors and gray area crime because they suck for one thing but they cannot get FELONS because THAT takes BRAINS and MOTIVATION to bust hard crime. CPD just does the EASY stuff because they are NOT capable of REAL HARD crimebusting.
Awwwww, someone must have got their feelings hurt by a CPD officer. Low IQ? You must be on the force.

Reynoldsburg police are investigating an allegation of criminal misconduct against the officer, 10TV's Kevin Landers reported.

No charges have been filed against the officer, whose name was not released.

The investigation started after the sergeant reported his home was burglarized on Monday, Landers reported.

Soon afterward, Reynoldsburg police apprehended two suspects.

One of the suspects, a 17-year-old boy, told investigators he had a sexual relationship with the officer who reported the burglary.

"I'll let you play with my gun, little boy, if you'll let me play with yours." said the policeman to the teen.

Didn't the DOJ try that once over 6 alleged complaints? What happened to that? The CPD officers fought the law and won. Remember?
RPD just wanted to get back at CPD.
