I've noticed the difference already. Took me a half-hour just to get through to my doctors office.
When Commie Care first passed, I asked my specialist how he felt about it? He said he thought it was a good thing if everybody could get treatment. I asked him the same question last December during my visit, and he just shook his head and said "I don't know!"
This failure of Socialism helped some people but hurt even more. I can hardly wait until those people that depend on their income tax refund check don't get one or get a much smaller one because they didn't have insurance.

The whole bleepin' thing was so rushed & long that I'm not sure that anyone is fully up to speed without spending 100's of hours on it.
The whole thing still passed only on party lines for some reason, what do you think about that?
Don't you think you should be better informed before you offer opinions?

"On December 24, 2009, the Senate passed an alternative health care bill, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (H.R. 3590).[2] In 2010, the House abandoned its reform bill in favor of amending the Senate bill (via the reconciliation process) in the form of the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010."

There is more than one part to it that makes it so confusing.

If there is any truth to that, how many Republicans amended the bill before it was passed?

And if there were any, I'm sure they were trying to make a terrible thing into a bad thing because that's all they could do.

In either case, it doesn't mean any Republicans were behind the bill no matter what. Point still stands.

That goes for many people. But don't you consider the deferments, extensions, waivers & executive orders amendments to the ACA? Think of the definition of "amend" to change, to alter etc.
OG's link; government101 defined amendments made AFTER a bill has passed.
Too many people on here are just like sharks, waiting to chomp on any perceived error & weakness as they perceive them being made.
We should not be so oppositional & aggressive & more would get accomplished.

Ignore them.

They will never admit that this scheme of Commie Care is a failure and nothing but more problems for more Americans. So the theme behind defending this jerk is to try and blame Republicans (or Bush) whenever possible whether they were at fault or not.

To put it another way, if they thought this plot was a brilliant idea for America, they would be doing everything in their power to try and distance Republicans from it. They would be ones to constantly bring up how Republicans were against this idea that became a huge success.

But instead, they are doing whatever they can to associate this failure with Republicans be it Congress or Romney. This is how we know we've won the debate, and this is how we know what they really think of Commie Care. They know it'a s failure just as people on our side of the fence know it's a failure.

More would get accomplished if we just let you be wrong? OG provided you a link and you still don't understand it. You are the poster child for what is wrong with our political discourse. You think your uninformed, uneducated, completely confused and wrong opinion is as valid as people who are informed and educated.

The real problem is the Sound Bite Voters! The ones that don't do any research so they buy into the propaganda. ALL of us saw & heard the "on street interviewer" before both previous elections. You can still easily find them on YouTube. The ones where people were duped when they were asked if they minded that Obama's running mate was a woman, or the one's that thought that they would no longer have a house payment if Obama was president & on & on.
The ppl that are narrow or closed minded & refuse to see overall facts.
The media is no help either. The competition for commercial dollars is so thick that you need a power saw to cut it. They don't care about the responsibility of the '4th estate' just dollars. Example: unemployment goes down .1% or .2% & they espouse that it "plumets"(sp) or that it "plunges"! Point 2 percent is a plunge? Why not just the facts with out all of the hyperbole?
Those two groups of ppl are the real problem.

It's as valid if not more valid than someone with a closed minded agenda.
I am also content that I am not as insulting or aggressive as you, canton or woo. Why not work together?
The answer is to divide & conquer. A very old & time proven axiom. Hitler used it, Muslim Extremist are using it, Stalin used it, the IJA used it, North Korea is using it etc etc & now Obama is using it. But YOU & others just don't see that. Propaganda can be quite effective. That proves that it is a viable tactic...in the short run. Problem is that IF it used for a generation or two, the people then alive do NOT know how to be free. A few exceptions would be like Poland & the Baltic states.
East Germany (the GDR) would not have known what to do IF West Germany wasn't there to teach them & to absorb the scholastic & economic cost to do so.

I guess you can call it anything that you want. But the alternative is allowing you to remain ignorant and believing what obviously is wrong to be right. That's ridiculous.
