I'm so sorry BJ. It's always sad when a pet dies. I have been through it many times. They love us unconditionally.
You have the fond memories to reflect upon.
Take care!

The good ones we keep in the apple house ( cool temp ) in the hill side. The crap looking ones get made into cider.
Pears same thing. Just a few peacbes so a round or two of pies and the rest get given to the Amish friends.
Grapes get frozzen, jelly, juiced and some sold.
We don't buy much at the grocery store. We can and freeze.
I LOVE to can! So glad to hear someone is still "preserving" the traditions!
What kind of grapes? The big dark bluish ones?
I used to make a conserve with the Italian purple plums...if you want the recipe I can give it to you. YUM!

My cat passed away Friday night. It is sad times here in Big Johnsonville. I used to enjoy watching him outdoors.
Sorry about that. I have a male kitten guess about 6 months old that just showed up one day I would be willing to give you. He likes to be petted but not held close, a lap cat. He purrs as soon as you touch him. He chases the birds out of the sun flower patch so I am sure he will be a playfull adult.

Yep mrs. rowdy loves to shop and so does the grand daughter.Luckily she found the dress she wanted at Macy's. I just drove and chose the restaurant later. My only question was, why didn't her mom take her.

Maybe your granddaughter wanted grandma and grandpa to take her.....to purchase the dress as a gift.
I pay for things for my grandchildren...they NEVER ask, but I just give because I want to.
Better to see them happy while I am alive , then not.
Plus it's a day to spend with them and make memories.
