Israel was the big loser yesterday. Look for the war with Iran to start very soon and then we will see the wisdom of our Kenyan President.

Yes, Israel. I fear for them and all of our military and other allies in the area.
And the coal mining families. My heart breaks for them.
We all will be affected, some more than others.
America has lost an incredible chance.
Energy independence is gone and all the jobs with it.

You don't feel the tidal wave, but Archie Bunker's world is getting washed off its foundations by women, blacks, and latinos who are getting a fair shot at remaking America into it's full potential instead of your vision of America which allows you to keep females hostage to your Neanderthal view of order in the kitchen and to keep non-whites in "their proper places."
Smell the coffee and drag your limp butt into the 21st Century. Your Warped Little Tea Party is Over.
This looks like the final logical conclusion to Nixon's Southern Strategy. In short, target a demographic and ignore the needs of the others. The Republican Party's problem is that their demographic has not maintained a majority status. When Romney (mis)identified his write-off segment as 47% of the population, someone ought to have pointed out that this was far too large a segment (even if the his assumptions about who they were and how they might vote were really confused) to write off.

By the time it was clear that Romney's support among blacks was invisible, a lost cause among Hispanics, and even highly endangered among women, it was far too late for the kinds of serious discussions about policy and strategy that might have enlarged the shrinking GOP tent, instead of just moving it further to the right where the shouting was louder.

George Jefferson AKA Cleavon Little is probably among the real lost causes of this election. These are the folks whose minds will not be changed, but are demographically less and less likely to be regarded as the folks who win elections for candidates.

His latest cockamamie idea (some kind of secession move) assumes that he and his have some absolute right of property ownership in a country where they can no longer receive a guaranteed place at the head of every line. He was raised on a philosophy of moving away from urban problems, and then blaming those left behind for being unable to solve them. Now he thinks that he can apply this thinking to a whole country. Well, we don't have acres of farmland outside the USA that can be bought up and inhabited by those who choose not to learn how to get along. If George and his friends want to leave--fine, good riddance. But--they will have to find some other country in the world to take them in. Good luck on finding another more tolerant of their ideas.

We must all come together and find a common ground, our country will be weakened by divisions. people of color-white, man-woman, Dems-Repubs, it is for the betterment of our country. Those that feel real resentment towards others must stop and think about becomming a better person. Always try to find the good in a situation or persons and not focus on the negative. It was about who do you trust and who really cares that elected our President. We have always been a muti-culture society and we must learn to really care about each other, we are all just people, so find the best in everyone and we will become stronger for it.

You find no problem with slicing and dicing the unborn, it's a child not a choice. And I do not want to be living in Aztlan.

You have to consider all the issues not just one. I don't believe in abortion personally, but it remains a choice the way it should be, and guess the majarity agrees. Old white men can no longer make decisions for everyone. Trust and caring is what elected our President. Romney caused all of the divisions. He was against everything and not considerate of too many people. I didn't like Bush but we had to live with it. Romney was too far right then went to the middle, then he choose Ryan an extremist. The more tricks the repubs played the more determined the Dems became. People stood in lines for 7 hrs. to vote. In my small town of Chillicothe there was a line because 2 machines were down and there was only one in my area.

Why is it a choice to kill what is a biologically distinct being?

That is science. I don't base my public arguments against abortion on religion. Anyone who says that it is not distinct is as scientifically ignorant as Akin.

Any society that endorses this genocide is headed to hell, and hell on earth. You can't sustain Social Security if we keep aborting our next generation.

And stop bashing white men.

It might be refreshing if you stopped trying to impose your morality on the rest of the world. It has never worked resulting only in religious warfare and bloodshed. Believe what you want but stop hammering it on others. I would come to your defense if someone attempted to force an abortion on anyone but you have no right or place to force someone else to accept your creed which borders on obsession. Try to take care of your own life and let others make their judgements without implying yours.
You support killing innocent life. We get it.
