Re-read for clarity:
All sexual BEHAVIOR involves choice.
But, when it comes to people who are gay, you either assume that they are all having sex, or you are rejecting all people who are gay regardless of their choices (recall that you have apparently taught your children not to befriend anyone who is gay).

Exactly. The "morality" of the GOP is a mile wide and an inch deep. They have no problem shitting on the rights of other people. But when the discrimination hits home, all of the sudden they have a "come to Jesus" moment and realize the error of their ways.
Says the person who is fine with shitting on the 2nd amendment in multiple posts on here. I will spare the political adjective and just refer to you as a good old hypocrite.

People are not "gay."
People choose to engage in unnatural same-sex behaviors, as a result of a psychological disorder resulting in an attraction to same-sex individuals or as a result of social engineering [Teacher tells Johnny if he feels like a girl, he may in fact be one...on the inside].

God does not condemn the individual.
God condemns the behavior.

Friendship is a special privilege granted to those who share common values.

<quoted text>We don't allow people with sexual deviancies to run around raping people because of how they are wired, so why should we allow homosexuals to run around acting on their deviant behavior?
Two very simple answers Bob:

1) Your question assumes a fact not in evidence: the proposition that homosexuality is in and of itself "deviant".

2) Regardless of whether homosexuality is "deviant" from some vague concept of "normalcy" propounded by others, or not, the real question is whether or not one engaging in homosexual acts is inflicting harm upon someone else. If not, their sex life is not the concern of anyone else.

That raises questions about the concepts of freedom of association, the right to privacy, and the pursuit of happiness, basic constitutional principles that people like Tip simply ignore, because acknowledging those concepts would interfere with their agenda of imposing their own religious version of morality upon other people.

If homosexual practitioners actually wanted privacy, they wouldn't organize "Gay Pride" parades, sport "Gay Pride" bumper stickers, clamor to have a float in the Cincinnati-Catholic St. Patrick's Day Parade [they were rejected...today], clamor for marriage status, et al.

No, they don't want privacy. Not at all.
In fact, they insist on dragging government into their lives and demanding that society, via the state, officially confer its stamp of approval on their chosen lifestyle.

But since they already enjoy every Constitutional right afforded every other U.S. citizen, what we can conclude is that they desire special rights -- special rights, all as a result of their choice to engage in unnatural, same-sex behaviors.

These demands are ludicrous...and open the door for the practitioners of the remaining 547 paraphilias [as defined by the APA DSM] to demand special rights on account of their sexual behaviors, none of which secure a natural future for humanity.

If you buy a new car and the rim comes flying off or the front end shimmies or burns gallons of oil or spits out a sulfur smell through the AC vents, is the car defective? Of course it is.

Then what do you call someone with a penis who thinks that the proper place to insert that penis is the mouth or an}_}us of another man with a penis? When parts don't work the way they are supposed to, by definition they are defective.

When something is defective, that means you can do one of three things 1) stop using it; 2) fix it; or 3) continue to use it and suffer the consequences.

If your floor lamp shocks you when you touch it, whose fault is it when it completely shorts out and your house burns down?

It hasn't occurred to you during your simple thought processes that "gay pride" displays such as these that offend you were probably influenced heavily by decades of repression inflicted by people like you, huh?

Do you think that maybe if people were simply left alone, instead of bullied, beaten, raped, ostracized, by folks like you, you wouldn't have such "offensive" displays?

Get a life of your own dude. Stop worrying about the lives other people are living.

Life's short. Then you die.

It's called moral opprobrium.

Nature established biological laws to ensure our continued existence.
God established moral laws to ensure our health and well-being.
Anyone who doesn't recognize these facts is a fool.

Accord special rights to same-sex practitioners and you must accord special rights to all other deviant-sex practitioners.

Those who advocate such radical, fundamental changes in the foundation of society bear the responsibility to prove how our civilization will be improved by these changes.

I was married once, and may choose to be so again at some point.

This is not the same thing as inviting anyone into my bedroom beyond my husband. That would be PRIVATE, see?
