So you are saying it is similar to when a bank robber gets shot and it is said "well he should not have been robbing the bank." Interesting.

Don't a lot of you think it's very sick that you people are trying to make the rape of a teenage girl into a political issue? You're as bad as that Steubenville football coach who laughed about the rape and told his players he'd take care of it.

When you have school officials involved, along with a sheriff known for corruption and allegations that the party started at the home of the county prosecutor, it's political.
If you knew anything about Steubenville, you wouldn't have asked the question.

Multiple politicians are under investigation, it's a political issue.

Your story has nothing to do with that.

Now the worst were those leftist women from KY, and OregonSUX.
I never thought of it at the time, but I should have created "Anti Male Sexism" in response.
What I do regret is that LIVs don't come on here, they are only on FB and Twitter. I hate both.
Kosmik and Jonah are two different people. I got along well with Kosmik, but didn't discuss a whole lot with him. Jonah even talked about the liquor he was drinking with his significant other.

Not sure who you're referring to with the LIVs.

It also promised that the rapist would not be relocated to another parish. Alas, he was. A parish, oddly with a very high percentage of kids in it. When the family learned that this resulted in more children being raped by that priest they could barely live with their shame, as they felt that had they had the courage to stand up originally, those children would never had been raped. I later watched Bishop Pilla beg those people for forgiveness in a scene that could have been right out of Godfather Part III.
That answer your question?
No, not really. Tells me very little about what you know.

None of this is unfamiliar territory. I happened to have come from the Diocese of Toledo, and am very familiar with what occurred there, down to having had actual contact with one of the police investigators there.(Long story, I know him due to family connections, we discussed some of this AFTER he retired and AFTER the case there with Gerald Robinson was settled in connection with some research I had been doing--that priest grew up not far from me, same hood.)

Your statements here aren't indicative that you know all about pedophilia priests and it's also indicative that you don't understand why those priests were moved--often more due to "duty rotation" than to cover things up. Did it ever occur to you as well most parishes DO have a LOT of children? Many have schools connected to them. Doesn't excuse it, but a lot of those "hush money" stories were nonsense and often had no backup to them--no records of it found. Paralegals really don't make good lawyers.

The damages caused several dioceses to go into bankruptcy. The coverups did exist, Los Angeles, Boston and Philly were prominent.

Yes, the coverups did exist.

I'm speaking from having witnessed one in the diocese of Toledo first-hand, and my statements were in no way designed to deny that.

However, the civil settlements and legal fees did hurt some of the diocese financially. None of that was due to "hush up money." In fact (I can't speak to the examples you mentioned), there was no evidence of "hush up money" in the Toledo diocese. Now if that was a matter that no documentation was kept or if there were only allegations designed to flame the first, I can't say. And I wouldn't call legal financial settlements "hush up money." Wikipedia has a list of diocese that did file bankruptcy. I don't think the ones you listed actually did, though. Some of the smaller diocese did.

No, I do believe you're anti-Catholic. I never once denied or argued that there were no priests accused of, and found guilty of, sex abuse.

What I am explaining to you is that you have alleged something -- "hush up money documents" -- that don't seem to exist. You can't add your own facts to a story. You're a willful liar. And quite possibly Skimmer, Jr.

Sam Ciccolini did really well too, until he got caught.
