But before they post anything, they'll quickly judge it 'clueless' 'disagree' and whatever that other one is. My icons don't always show. Just depends on the day.

If you believe that Attorney/GALs practicing in the state of Ohio are people who "can't get clients" or "hold their licenses", or that there's a burden of proof in any court that requires evidence "beyond a shadow of a doubt", or that there's a county department of children's services anywhere in the nation that pays off sexual abuse victims in exchange for silence so that people can maintain their certification to foster... you really are clueless.

Your sainted government is NO DIFFERENT when it comes to bad behavior. My guess is it's worse and manages its coverups better.
Dude, really. That is nothing like what the church did. That agency was dilatory in its investigations. There is not one word of knowing transfer of offenders. Not one word of confidentiality agreements. Not one word of money being paid to keep victims quiet. If you think what happened in that news piece is in any way analogous to what occured in the Cleveland Diocese you are either mentally retarded or willfully ignorant. I don't believe you are mentally retarded.

Ah yes, I saw that movie. Never read the book.

I admit I don't get mixed up in the negativity and name-calling that goes on here. I used to, but I figure life is stressful enough and creating unnecessary negativity is just stupid, especially with people I don't know or who don't know me. I don't mind having thoughtful, intelligent debates. But when it comes to the sophomoric comments, I realize the conversation is over.

Speaking of foster homes, I knew a lot of kids who grew up in foster homes. Some were really good, but some were not. It's a toss up as to whether a child is going to be placed in a loving home. But the problem many agencies face is a lack of resources in keeping up on these kids.

You announced your pregnancy a while ago on the forum. How are things going?

I was hiding in the vestibule, beyond a shadow of a doubt, trying to flag down ex-attorneys who were negligent and couldn't hold their licenses in hopes of them taking the job of guardian ad litem!

As she was hiding in the vestibule perusing the icons she had been given earlier that day and wondering why the attorney who she had paid $300 to come to her home earlier that day would no longer return her telephone calls, the sultry, serious lady revisited the difficult questions that had scattered her once peaceful memories into darkness.

"Why" she asked herself, "if the parents of those children gave a damn about those kids, would they be in foster homes to begin with?". "Why couldn't they have been placed in the home of that old couple at the farm down the road, instead of with those two lazy asses who do nothing but take food stamps and EIC payments?" "Who reported them"?, and "What did that arrogant attorney mean when he told her as he was leaving, "It was a pleasure meeting you, Anne"?

It was becoming overwhelming to her now, her mind racing. The issues seemed entirely too complex. They had been heard in multiple venues with multiple results. The experts and participants hadn't come to a concise conclusion yet. But in her own mind, it had been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Michael Jackson died the lonely death of a falsely accused, yet innocent man.
