Sounds like we started saving money when the meds were removed...and now we are way ahead since he no longer will require food.

The man was tortured to death; long before he even took his own life. The State must be held accountable for experimental medicine on the vulnerable in the population.

Although I'm certainly not mourning the death of a murderer, I'm not sick enough to celebrate it. Some of the comments on here are...I don't know what!

You must be in one of those fine institutions that refuses you drugs for some type of imagined pain and are bitter for not getting your way. Typical criminal mentality.......

Not yet. The state has to pay for legal expenses defending themselves because this idiot decided to hang himself and some relative will feel they should be compensated. Unfortunately they will receive some type of payment. I see the writing on the wall already... He was refused pain medication....Typical, no problem for him to kill someone, but a little of his pain is the states fault.

Equally sadistic as the murderer, perhaps. As a chronic pain patient, I can only hope each of these people get to experience chronic pain and the medical system which turns its back on human suffering. This isn't happening just in prisons. Thanks to the DEA it's every where across America.

Of course, you want to believe that if you have a legit issue, it will be addressed. This is, after all, America, and our medical system is the best!!!

LOL. The joke is truly on you. You'll go bankrupt before they pay you any mind, ESPECIALLY if it was the medical system who injured you.

Greg Stamper was a drug addict, who I'm sorry to say I knew. He was worthless POS. I am glad he is dead. He was a cold blooded killer who should have been excuted a long time ago.
Some of the comments on here say because he was in pain he should have been given his meds? most of you have a condition, fibro, cancer, or whatever. he was just a frickin addict who wanted a fix nothing more nothing less..

This is exactly why these decisions are not at the discretion of the public and are to remain within the confidentiality of a medical relationship, according to ethical standards.

This in fact is an issue of war crime.Prisoners may not be exposed to experimental medicine.

Wait until you see how the conservative model has altered the quality, safety standards of health care. What happend to this person in prison; is experimental medicine. On the outside the State of Ohio is illegally peddling controlled substances to persons who don't need them.

This man's experience is in fact a war crime.
