---Voters in the insurance exchanges won't know until 11 days after the 2014 election just how much they'll pay for coverage in 2015
The Treasury department has already delayed implementation of the employer mandate, and its fines, until Election Day has come and gone
---Millions of Americans are receiving private-insurance cancellation letters, with many experiencing sticker-shock when they learn their options
---One poll released Wednesday shows that 48 per cent of taxpayers now want the Obamacare law repealed
The Obama administration plans to delay by a full month the open enrollment period for Obamacare's second year, in a move that a Republican campaign strategist called 'nakedly political.'
According to Healthcare.gov , the Department of Health and Human Service's official online portal for the Affordable Care Act, enrollment for 2015 is scheduled to begin on October 15, 2014 and end on December 7.
But an HHS official said Thursday that the schedule has been bumped back, beginning on November 15, 2014 and ending on January 15, 2015. That timetable will ensure that the midterm elections come and go before the new year's insurance rates are published.
'Consumers will not see their 2015 premiums until after the midterm elections, instead of immediately before,' an APCO Worldwide Washington, D.C. managing director Mike Tuffin told Bloomberg.'One doesnít have to be a conspiracy theorist to divine the motive here.'
The White House attracted widespread scorn in July when the Treasury Department also quietly announced a one-year delay of the Obamacare law's employer mandate, shelving the implementation of its stiffest penalties past the 2014 midterms.
'How nakedly political can you get?' a Republican campaign strategist based in a southern U.S. state asked when MailOnline reached him late on Thursday.
'Are you kidding me? This is like a high school delaying the SAT until a few weeks after college acceptance letters come out,' he said.
'Next they're going to tell us that Santa won't put together his naughty-or-nice list until December 26.'
An HHS official told Politico that the change is 'good news for consumers, who will have more time to learn about plans before enrolling.'
But it will also postpone any resulting public sticker shock until after voters choose the members of the next Congress.
Insurance companies will still be required to submit their policies to the federal government in mid-spring 2014, but consumers getting their coverage through the government's exchange will not find out how much they will pay until they shop online Ė 11 days after the election.

Surveys of companies need to be done now. Find what they have already decided to do in 2015 because their plans are already in the works they're not waiting till 2015. Their plans are set ready to implement.
I know one Ohio Electric Utility who is eliminating the shared cost of healthcare to ALL it's Retirees now and in the future.
Letters have been sent.

Video: Ohio company cancels insurance coverage for 1,000 employees
Just think what will happen when the employer mandate really kicks into gear next year. One Ohio company has decided to get ahead of the game by acting now ó allowing them to save costs on both the premiums and the fines for at least the next year. WEWS reports on PSC Metals and the move of an additional 1,000 people into the ObamaCare exchanges (via TWS):
If PSC drops its health insurance, the company would face a penalty of $2000 per employee under the Affordable Care Act.
But for some companies, that penalty may actually be a big savings, says Tom Sutton, a NewsChannel 5 political analyst and chair of political science at Baldwin Wallace University.
Thatís because companies pay up to $7,000 for individual coverage and up to $20,000 for family coverage. Compared to the $2,000 penalty?
ďYouíre going to save a lot of money,Ē Sutton says.
And thatís not all. Sutton adds,ďThe Obama Administration has postponed the employer mandate penalty until 2015.Ē
That means, if a company cuts its health insurance now, they have a whole year without both the insurance payments to make or the penalties to pay.
Thereís another angle to this, too. Donít forget that the employer mandate requires companies with more than 50 employees to provide subsidized coverage for their workers ó but not for spouses at all, and doesnít require employers to provide subsidies to cover dependent children. The employees have to pick up the full cost of that coverage if offered by their employers, but can get taxpayer-provided federal subsidies if the employer refuses to comply with the mandate. Employees with children may well be financially better off going into the exchanges (although perhaps not in provider coverage), while employers save money by dumping group coverage altogether.

This delay is sooo blantant it's laughable. Won't help him or his party in the least. The 'law' that Obama himself has broken NUMEROUS times will evenutally be repealed, in whole, and more intelligent heads will prevail.
This 'president' is an abject failure all the way around. And some of their actions have been criminal.
He makes Nixon look like a role model.

They are idiots, and can not make this go away. Insurance companies are ramped up and rates will continue upward steadily through the year and folks will KNOW what's behind door number 2015 when they pull the lever in November.
The death knell will be the enrollment failure numbers. He cannot run this scam without the kiddies signing up for Ocare. Sticker shock will take care of them staying in there mother's basement. Because of Obama's stupidity and stubborness this will be an ugly death spiral. But a necessary one.
