Having differing opinions on race, and arguably Jew hatred doesn't put one as "illiberal" or on the right.
I've heard the opinions of many liberals, that Gosnell is a consequence of the eeevil Republicans for not funding abortion with tax dollars. IMO, that's a defense of him.
Just because you categorize him as left, doesn't mean he's a liberal. He is not. Not even a little bit. Honestly, he sounds like a psychopath who probably wouldn't fit in either category, but he sure as hell isn't a liberal.

That isn't a defense of Gosnell, that's a defense of keeping early-term abortions safe and legal. You may try to misrepresent those assertions as a defense of Gosnell, but it's inaccurate. If safe, legal early-term abortions are not available, people like Gosnell are the result. NO ONE wants that.

Lack of early abortions are not the cause of Gosnell, irresponsibility is.

Aside from Bob's Anti-Semitism, he's not an irrational poster, just a poster with conviction on some issues and a lack of it on others.

Don't put liberals in this category. I don't know one liberal who condones Gosnell's actions. However, Enzyte Bob seems to be okay with it, and he's hardly a liberal. I'm sure there are more people like him than there are liberals who agree that what Gosnell did was okay.
I'm of the don't care/no skin off my nose mindset on these issues. I would prefer women keeping their legs together, but since they won't I encourage them to abort as many basthard babies as possible.

Gosnell, therefore, is too valuable to society to rot in jail. Fine him $50 and let him get back to work.

Well until you find a way to legislate and enforce responsibility, this is the reality of the world. So, being that that more than likely will not happen, the intelligent thing to do is make sure women have access to early-term abortions so they won't be forced to go to someone like Gosnell.

You can have your opinion of Bob. I have mine.

Yes, we already know how you feel men are too weak to deny themselves sex.

No one can ever be said to have been "forced" to seek a late-term abortion.
All abortion is a choice; it is the choice you defend.

Here's a radical thought. Gosnell is the cause of Gosnell. Some people simply commit crime.

You may see it as a choice for some people and technically speaking, it is a choice. Everything in our lives is a choice. Whether we continue breathing is a choice.

But for some women, they do feel forced into that decision. And yes, I defend their choice to do so. I always will. Don't mistake that for defending Gosnell.

At 9 weeks or 9 months, the pregnant woman undergoing an abortion has chosen to end the life of her child. The stage of development does not change the indisputable fact that a human life -- her own child's -- is ended by abortion.

Many parents find it difficult to provide for their children [financially, emotionally, et al] after their birth. Shouldn't those parents be given the same option to terminate those children...seeing as how their various situations leave them no better option?

This tired argument again? If you don't understand or realize the difference between a 9-week-old fetus and a sensate child, I recommend taking biology.

I would much prefer someone seek an abortion because they realize off the bat that they will not be an adequate parent then decide after the child is born and put the baby in the trash, drown it, smother it, beat it, sell it, etc. etc. etc.

Following your logic...a toddler is less human than a teen, a teen less human than an adult. It is a fact that we are all developing humans.

it has nothing to do with psycho babble and psychology, it's just nature. It's the way human males are wired.

if women understood anything about the marketplace they would also understand that making themselves less available enhances their value on the market.

I once dated an extremely attractive woman back in the day who was also a devout Christian (Dutch farm girl - the Dutch are known for being very religiousas far as an immigrant groups go). In other words, no sex. And you know what? coming from observant (and maybe even borderline devout) Catholic background, I was completely okay with that and I liked the idea that I wasn't dealing with used goods.

Obviously, being a guy and all, I would have also been okay with things the other way too. But the moral of the story is that someone like that held a tremendous amount of appeal for me over some used up brainwashed bubble headed slut.

You can't fight nature. And if you want men to have respect for you,you have to learn to act like women and you have to make yourself less of a commodity.

P.S. She was also extremely into the fact that I was okay with the no sex thing because it was rare to find someone raised in a similar environment.

No real moral to the story other than the fact that the Prole Models article I posted has a lot of truth. People have lowered their standards to the level of the gutter or as Daniel Patrick Moynihan once put it "defining deviancy down".

Consider yourself pardoned. That doesn't mean every woman has the financial ability to receive one. I would guess that some of the women who sought out Gosnell may not even have known they were pregnant until much later due to not having proper medical care. There are a myriad of reasons why low-income women went to Gosnell. I don't approve of them, but history has shown that when abortion was illegal, it was committed in the same fashion and type of place as Gosnell.

No, that's according to your logic. A toddler, teen and adult all have the same thing in common. They are born, they are breathing, thinking, feeling beings. This fact is one of the reasons there is a limit on when a woman can obtain an abortion. Our society places a certain amount of value on these attributes, which is why we have active and passive euthanasia in many cases. What stage you consider life valuable is your prerogative.

By using a term "you people" you're showing a blanket assumption. Don't presume to think you know anything about my opinion on the subject of adoption. I fully support adoption. But it's not my place or your place to tell a woman she has to give birth to a child she doesn't want.

Adoption isn't the solution to the problem. You know this as well as I do. How many African American couples out there are trying to adopt? How many Caucasian couples want to adopt African American babies, especially those who may have been born with physical or mental disabilities? As soon as there are more couples looking to adopt than there are children available for adoption, you can use that argument.

Sure. And as I already pointed out to you, based on your logic, men can't be held accountable for rape or molestation, because after all, it's just in their nature. They're opportunists, just like you said. So if an opportunity arises and a man acts on it, he was just doing what was in his nature to do, right? He doesn't have any control over himself or his actions, right?

Furthermore, by your logic, the girl from Stubenville who was raped, it wasn't those boys' faults for raping her. They were just seizing an opportunity, right?

Supply and demand, supply and demand. The culture of sex exists because men demand it. I've provided more than enough proof to show that males are the force behind the booming sex industry. You can sit there and say you don't have any control over yourself, and maybe you in particular don't. But many men do and have controlled themselves. Men as a species aren't weak, just you and people like you.

Don't kid yourself either to think that men are the only judges of promiscuity. Women don't exactly see promiscuous men as a prize...not by any means.

Nobody is really interested in your dating experience.

And as I've already pointed out, sexual experimentation, promiscuity and the like are not novel ideas. People have been having sex before marriage, outside of marriage and with the same gender for eons. It wasn't until the Marriage Act of 1753 in England that a clergy member even had to be present during a "wedding." Most people cohabitated together, consider themselves husband and wife and procreated. One can look through almost any culture's history and see the popularity of sex within and outside of relationships.

Look at some of the oldest and greatest civilizations in history. The Italians, the Greeks...all practiced homosexuality. The Sacred Band of Thebes, the notion that homosexual relationships between men could result in increased bravery. Turns out your ideas of sexual behavior among human beings is what is novel.
