Wow. Impressive. You can spell the names of three dictators.

Ummm...Steven Hawking, Bill Gates Andrew Carnegie

Hmmm...in your camp, Ante Paveli, Warren Jeffs, Anders Breivik, Ku Klux Klan...oh and let's not forget ol Adolf Hitler (I know, I know...your side claims him to be an atheist, but much of his rhetoric blasts atheism).

The historical record says you are wrong. Our personal views of you tend towards the phrase "bitter".
Not the least since that the Duggars have 19 kids, and you have none.
There's a woman from back home who has 11 kids. All of them fetal alcohol syndrome. But I guess that's a good case for enthusiastic Christianity.

Of course your opinion is that atheists are bitter. That argument suits your needs. You'd hate to think your life of devotion to something that doesn't exist was all in vain. But judging from the majority of "believers" who post on here, your camp is some of the most bitter, angry, pissed off people I've ever come across.

Can't see what I have to be bitter about. I have a wonderful, happy life and I make sure to make the most out of. Life is good.

Regardless, you listed two brutal industralists, and the purveyor of the discredited black hole theory.

Breivik referred to himself as a "cultural christian". Albert Speer recorded Hitler as being opposed to Christianity.

What's also important to understand is that those under Lenin, Stalin and Mao, agreed with the worldviews of their leaders.

And remember, your side supports history's largest ongoing genocide by the highest margins.

You're not exactly Buddha on the mountain top speaking truth. Just your own version of it.
Your atheism is but a byproduct of your ignorance.
Funny that you use it as your ever-present crutch.

You with your faith are far more bitter and angry than I am. I've been more at peace since I finally threw in the towel about religion. Best decision I ever made.

Christians are motivated by Christ's perfect, sacrificial love.

I John 4:18

"There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love."

I don't think so. Don't see any atheists flying planes into buildings or calling for all Muslims to be deported. Atheists generally want you religious zealots to have it out with each other, do whatever you need to do and leave the rest of us alone.

Regardless of your opinions of these people, they all claimed to be Christian. Even Hitler.

Religion is the number one divider of people.

Then you're misguided and biased. I'm the least bitter person on this thread. You calling for a revolution, George who dislikes anyone who doesn't agree with him and spends his days and nights on here exchanging juvenile rants, tip who is as angry as they come and reality who has nothing good to say about anyone. And all of you claim this Christian love but exhibit none of it. You all seethe with hatred, intolerance and bigotry. It must suck to hate everyone and everything.

Crutch? No. I see the reality of things.

It's people like you who subscribe to the bromides of religion.

"Everything happens for a reason."

"It's all a part of God's plan."

"God works in mysterious ways."

And when you can't explain it, you just "trust in the lord" and say, "well, at least they're in a better place" as a way to assuage your fears.

Truth is, I could care less what you believe until you try to make me a part of it. You, on the other hand, don't like when people don't believe as you do. Intolerance at its best.

Wow. You have me convinced. But then again there's the explanation at the bottom of the article as to why people experiences these situations.

You can believe whatever you like, George. That's an entirely personal decision.

I don't know about you, but me being an atheist wasn't a decision, but rather an evolution of logic and just plain common sense.

The same way you pretend to know about others' lives. It's funny that you have no problem telling everyone else whether they have hope or happiness but object to people saying the same of you.

Religion is the number one divider of people.
1. It's been demonstrated that the USSR killed far more than Al-Qaida.

2. You see, it’s been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. Why didn’t we have the religion of the Japanese, who regard sacrifice for the Fatherland as the highest good? The Mohammedan religion too would have been much more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?

(Albert Speer, Hitler's war minister credits him as saying this)

How is calling for revolution an example of bitterness?

I've got no problem with the third worlders, when they stick to the Third World!
