Mosquitoes trapped in Hilliard have tested positive for West Nile virus. Franklin County Board of Health officials say state testing confirmed the find.

W.N. is pretty crazy. The mosquito species that carry it like stagnant water in gutters, potted plants, and the like. Check around the house to make sure you don't have any standing water. Of coarse the crap the spray has me concerned as well.

I do not want to breathe in the fog (what's in it anyway? The county website doesn't list ingredients), or have my yard polluted by the fog, or my groundwater made toxic by the fog. Clear standing water to get rid of mosquitoes. I have filled out a no-spray form for my proprty; I hope others do too.
