Do you realize that the person who you constantly rail against here is the one politician that has accomplished ANYTHING close to moving away from a healthcare delivery system based solely on profit? You are cutting your own throat.
Michael Moore, the rough-edged populist maker of films about guns, the erosion of the middle class and capitalism itself, kicked off 2014 with some harsh words for President Barack Obama. In a New York Times op-ed, Moore called Obama’s signature health care law "awful."

"The Affordable Care Act is a pro-insurance-industry plan implemented by a president who knew in his heart that a single-payer, Medicare-for-all model was the true way to go," Moore said. "By 2017, we will be funneling over $100 billion annually to private insurance companies."

What do you think President Obama should be doing to help the uninsured?
Oh, for God's sake, stop asking. It's pretty friggin' simple.

Medicaid could be expanded to those who recently lost their jobs or were falling between the cracks, for starters. That would have taken care of most of the problem right there and left my deductible at a manageable figure.

And you are fighting human nature, and wasting a lot of resources to do it. Capitalism is superior because it works WITH human nature, not against it. You can't build wealth without providing opportunity for others, even unintentionally. You can interfere with the process, however, and thereby create obstacles for those others.
First, insisting that our delivery of health care be based on building wealth is stupid and immoral. Second, it is odd that every other industrialized nation in the world has managed to develop non-profitized health care if it is against human nature. I would much rather create obstacles for your wealth building than obstacles for others' health building.

Michelle Obama is POTUS now? I must have missed that.

Tell us more about how the US is suing Hobby Lobby, 3.1. And when you are done with that, tell us about how no Republicans have ever been convicted of voting fraud.

WTF are you talking about? You think the ACA wasn't profit-motivated? Who in your family or close friends (oh, sorry) is a medical care provider? WHO? Have you talked ot them lately? Do you realize that most insurance companies ALREADY MET the standards for percentage spent on health care? Do you realize how much the taxpayers are in the hole for this boondoggle?
Instead of worrying about what other people say so that you can jump on them, try reading in your spare time. You certainly have lots of it.
Let's see. You cry about the situation before the ACA. You cry that the ACA was ineffective as a remedy. And you lash out at the only political party that harbors any hope of fixing the situation. That makes no sense at all. None.

See, now we are getting somewhere. You don't give a rat's ass about anyone but yourself. Just so long as your deductible doesn't go up. You are just a selfish shrew. Thanks for finally coming clean.

Only someone uneducated and ignorant about the negative effects of high deductibles would say such a thing. The selfish shrew is you, as your only life seems to be sitting and watching the Topix threads waiting to hurl an insult. Seek help.

No political party can fix this mess, and the more the government interferes with medical care the worse it will get. You have NO medical practitioners in your immediate circle or you would know this.

You seriously need to seek help for your rabid obsession with posters you don't like.

As opposed to what? How many medical bills have you covered out of your own pocket or profit or wages for people who were down and out on their luck because they couldn't seem to qualify for anything the government offered? That's what I thought.

Wow. So you complain about the profits involved in health insurance and you think that less government involvement will make that better? Do you think your medical practitioner pals are trying to make more money or less money? You really don't understand this situation.

If you don't want people to respond to your idiot posts, why do you post them on a public forum? That doesn't make much sense, now does it?

I do not qualify for an insurance tax subsidy, but many do, maybe even you. So I am covering medical bills out of my own pocket for a whiny ingrate. You are welcome anyway.
