Every President has, no doubt wanted to achieve much more that was possible.....See teaparty House republicans and their campaign to block every democratic jobs bill for three years, and limit him to one term.....Your knowledge of how DC works is lacking...sadly replaced by Fox's agenda driven, talking points......
maybe because we can't put a bill into law that's supposed to create jobs without adding billions to the deficit, and outsourcing the some of the spending. Remember when Obama tried to laugh off the "shovel ready jobs" disaster?? Funny how the private sector can add jobs while making a profit but the government has to spend spend spend. If a private company wasted that much money to expand with such little result they would go under or if they were big enough, get a bailout. GM owes every tax payer a automobile.

That is incoherent.

<quoted text> in Blues defense, Obama did push to lift corporate tax loopholes on Big Oil. Congress couldn't get that done but then again, those republicans who blocked it sure get wayyy more $ from them... at least right now. Wouldn't it be nice if they took all taxes off what a citizen pays for a gallon at the pump? That's what would help we the people. Cost of living is getting worse, there's no way inflation is as flat as the cpi indicates.
the Dollar lost 14% of value when buying imports in just 2013.

who needs inflation when the dollar is shedding value at 14% a year?

If we don't supply our own oil, expect $10 a gallon gas.

when printing 65 billion a month of fake non-backed currency from a failing nation, do you expect the person selling oil to accept Monopoly money as payment?

Above is a very serious problem.

Putin is ex-KGB

Obama is ex-affermative action college student.

Putin looking at Obama with the KGB stare has Obama running to hide under Nancy Pelosi's couch.

With the magnificent diplomacy displayed by the Obama administration, the world is on fire.

I guess screaming I am telling on you, did not scare Putin.

Should we blame the GOP Congress for Putin's behavior?

Just what I expected. You bitch and moan, but have no practical suggestion for what the US policy should be.
US Policy needs be consistent, and not blowing in the polls.

US policy is well documented over the 238 year history.

No suggestion is required.........facts rule.

you seem to think you have Neutral backed into a corner by asking a stupid question. Like his /her answer is going to somehow void their opinion when its just that... an opinion. People can share those for different reasons, you're question is irrelevant unless you're trying to whine. They didn't play your game and now you're even more ill tempered.

The key environmental safety factor is the casing, the industry term for the sheath of cement that surrounds a newly drilled well. If improperly made, gas can migrate along the outside of this sheath.

At the same time, wells in New York State where there has been no fracking show similar concentrations of methane to those in Pennsylvania where fracking is abundant. Northeastern Pennsylvania—where Dimock is located—seems to be a hotspot for such methane contamination, even compared with other parts of the same state.

the truth is most accidents that happen are not reported or public record and are settled in nondisclosure agreements in court. So we don't really know.

I simply asked what he thought the US should be doing about the Ukraine situation. It's a pretty fair question. When reasonable people complain about policy, they have an alternative policy plan. Unreasonable people don't.

that's not the official number our government gives us. We must trust the government to be rational. Only an idiot would factor in the cost of silly things like fuel, food, healthcare, and housing when calculating inflation .

Until it became unpopular to do so, you might be surprised at how many Congresspersons benefited from Big Oil before they were elected as well as after they were elected. Why yes, there ARE Democrats included in that sentiment! And let's not forget the public unions whose beneficiaries benefited as well from investing in Big Oil.
Congress taking "campaign donations" from corporate and big oil lobbies???? I'm Shocked!....Have you told anyone else?
