I am fine Dave. Getting ready for another round of Artic Air. Remember for days when Diesel Fuel would jell?

I remember one time I went to my other Farm about 7 miles away, to get a load of hay, it was one of those extreme cold days. I was on my John Deere 4440, after I loaded up, I started back home. I noticed I was starting to lose power. I stopped at a service station, added some fuel additive and 20 gallons of Kersosene, I think it held 65 gallons, when I got to my drive way, I throttled back, the tractor quit.

Remember I mentioned Black Boy? That old dude was never a very big eater, the most he ever weighed was about 12 lbs. Now he is down to 5 lbs. He layed around several days not eating, just stretched out, Now the old pup is back to eating a little, drinking water. I guess it must be true a cat has nine lives Dave. When a cow gets down, you might as well call the dead wagon. I have doctored them, fed them, watered them, even lifted them up, but all died.

Based on the content the libs are posting, they haven't a clue as to Oblamo's direction or explanation as to why. Because 5+ years later they still blame Bush they'll see who will be held accountable this fall.

I read an article on RealClearPolitics.com last week that the Republicans have a very good shot at controlling all of Congress next year.

I personally hope there is a conservative leader of the new Congress and a defunding of Oblamocare, the most failed govt program ever.

keep it real...

as a business owner I can hire whomever I want to work with, and ignore those I don't.

pass all the idiotic laws you want but I will hire whom I want to, and no laws are going to force me to hire anyone.

if I don't like you, you won't be hired.

legislate me to be forced to like you, and there are no job openings.

simple.

I remember on one of my many trips to Chicago, I was driving a 1974 Peterbuilt cabover and the temp was below zero with a wind chill of 30 below. The fuel started to gel and I was on the side of the road trying to get the ice out of the filter probably 4 times before I got to the next truckstop where I dumped 4 gallons of Power Service in the tanks. I made damn sure that never happened again after that day. This winter is being a pain in the butt for me. The snow just keeps coming.

That JD is a pretty nice tractor. I have a JD 650 here, and it runs great. My big tractor is a 1975 Ford 4500 backhoe/loader.

Sorry about your cat. I will say a prayer for him. My Blackieboo is doing better, but she's just old. When she wants to eat, I carry her to the dish to help out a little. She seems to like that. The babies are getting big. I took the pic of them 2 days ago that is my avatar now.

I think in winters we learn lessons Dave. I had a little JD 2440, you usually need a shot of eiter to start below 30 degrees or in most cases 20 degrees. this tractor would start at 10 below no eiter. It must have had great compression or something.

We got a little snow Sunday, but it never lasted long. I suspect you are far north in Ohio. People don't realize the trials truckers go through to bring goods to their city. Some of my good friends drove trucks, one was my milk truck driver, they have to run, no matter the cold, the snow, it is a tough life. Sometimes shoveling snow in a driveway. Just getting started early of the morning.

It has been a rough winter Dave, take care friend.

Catman, i look at alot of real estate, here on Topix....I can't believe how many northern homes have been listed in the last three months.....Almost every residences photo, has it covered in snow.....Sadly, some people are throwing in the towel....plus, the south likely has more jobs....

There are a ton of foreclosed homes for sale near Cleveland. Pretty sad.

I'm sure glad my boss put some money into my plow truck, because she sure is getting a workout this winter. I even had to use the big loader to plow one time because of heavy wet drifted snow. That was certainly a fun day. I had to dig the truck out 4 times before I finally said screw this and broke out the big boy.

Obama hasn't hidden anything from the American people. He has produced any and all documents, facts and information when asked to do so. Nothing has been hidden.
Unlike George W. Bush, when asked what he knew prior to 9/11/01. What does Chaney and him do? Instead of giving information seperately, they go in together behind closed doors. There were rules when they went in, certain questions could not be asked. Now we will not know in our lifetime what they knew. We can only speculate. Only after they have avoided going before a War Crimes Tribunal, will we ever know, the real truth.
Obama has hidden everything from the American people.

Obama originally said marriage was between a man and a woman. Lie.
Obama said we could keep our health care if we like it. Lie.
Obama said he did not use the IRS to punish conservatives. Lie.
Obama has lied continually and violated his oath of office to protect
this nation for that he should be impeached.

Maybe your marriage failed because you were ogling the help at the wedding. She's the one who got the annulment, right?

BTW, do you think we hired the photographer five minutes before the wedding?
I think she got the annulment on you.

Are you accusing me, a "darkie", of self-restraint?

And, no. I think you hired that photographer to come to your wedding because you wanted to see her again and your game is weak.

Obama is a COMMUNIST!!...He is weaking our country,he is destroying our military. Our economy hasn't emproved since this imposture took office, the price of gasoline is still above three dollars a gallon,I doubt if we will ever under any Damnocrat, see any relief in any type of energy.Tax and spend into bankruptcy, and with Obamacare the bottom will fall out with this monstrosity..All he (Obama) seems to be obsessed with is GAYS gettin married.Meanwhile our enemies are getting bolder, while our influence deminishes throughout the World. While he is messing our minds up with all the social engineering crap,Obama is doing his dirty work behind the scenes. What has Obama done for the Unions?.A thousand union workers lost their jobs due to Obama 's war on coal fired power plants.A company by the name of Ormett along the Ohio river had to close their doors, the power they once got from a coal fired power plant closed, they sought power out of state, the price was to high, they the power co wouldn't budge,so more folks on unemployment ,and Government hand outs. The keystone pipe line would no doubt help us,it would create jobs, and we wouldn't have to depend on the middle east.He Obama is going to work on creating jobs!!.LOL.....The only work he is capable of creating is putting more people out of work, and inlarging the welfare state, like a food Leftist does.......

After seeing Oblamo's foreign policy in action in Lybia, Syria, Iran and Egypt it is obvious that Russia will do what Russia wants in the Ukraine.

This guy will say anything to sound effective but the results are all the same, failure and worse off than before.

The question is not is Oblamo doing a good job. It should be has Oblamo's failures domestically and abroad made America irrelevant?
