I think it is possible at this point in history, Obama will go down as a historic President like Abe.

Historic yes.

Record high unemployment, fewest working in 50 years, record high debt, record foreclosures, fewest home owners in 50 years, 50M+ on food stamps, failed foreign policy.

By far the worse President in my lifetime. Potentially ever.

And the libs will blame Bush 10 years from now because they got nothing out of Oblamo except failed policies and historically poor economic performance.

I laugh when I see this. Is that all they've got? What an immature, factually incorrect accusations.

Hell yes, he deserves the POS prize.

He's FOS, similar to you. Except he has a job. Both of you are screwing America and neither of you have a clue as to what is going on.

The libs can't answer why we have fewer working now than in the last 50 years.

Why 2/3 of the jobs added are part time, and why they're part time.

50M+, or 1/6 are receiving food stamps.

Oblamocare is one F'd up govt program. Still no report on all those policies issued.

Foreign policy a disaster. Terror is alive and prospering despite a Nobel peace prize winning President.

And this guy is worried about gay marriage, gun control, immigration and anything else than above.

And play hundreds of rounds of golf.

America elected this POS and will suffer the effects of this social experiment for many years to come.

GWB sounds pretty damn good now. At least families were able to feed themselves, people were working full time and we had hope.

You people are not living in reality of these times. No POTUS can STOP international terroism. No company is forced to hire layed off workers or stay in the US. GWB and his party's control of Congress, gave us a recession in the making by fighting TWO WARS on credit, that WE have to pay for as well as our children and grandchilren, deregulation of the banking and financial industry caused the housing scandals by a majority Republican Congress and a few democrats.
We have carte blanche outsourcing that awards companies through massive tax breaks and a 13% tax on investment profits, while the taxes on medium incomes of 35-50k is 15%.
You don't know what you're talking about. You're too partisan to open your eyes to see the mess 8 years of Bush caused in pain now.

However, promises mean nothing in life. Actions speak louder than words and Oblamo's record speaks for itself.

50M+(and growing) on food stamps.
Record debt (and growing).
Healthcare for all that can afford it. Name changed due to another broken promise.

America needs Ronald Reagan more than ever!!!!!!
Go dig up the Gipper, you fool...and see if ole Raygun could deal with the terrorist of today as well as he handled the marine barrack bombing in 83', you stupid clown.
Let's see what Ronnie would do about the massive outsoutcing that put 35 million out of work who would be in church soup lines without SNAP. We are living in different times, dummy...Rayguns policies worked well for the people they were designed to help. Companies took their tax breaks and didn't hire as promised, rather closed down and sent their production to China.
Would Ronnie speak out against this, maybe...but our system of free enterprise wouldn't allow him to curtail it.
It's the system that's flawed.

Why is it so hard for Republicans to understand this?
Republicans do understand, and it is over your head.

Business will not hire anyone if they can't determine the cost of that hire.

The business landscape since Obama took office has been that of a dark closet, with a rotted floor.

Just watch how fast that changes when business can plan in lieu of reacting.

Reactionary mode to government actions is not good for hiring.

who da thunk?

One promise Oblamo appears to have made has come true.

He stated he would have the most transparent administration in history.

He may have been correct on this one.

Despite widespread corruption (Fast & Furious, Benghazi, Food Stamp abuse, SSI Abuse, IRS targeting, ACORN....) that has been shown time and again they just move along as if nothing has ever happened.

The equivalent of flipping off the American people.

And where's the media in all of this? Getting marching orders from the administration.

A typical suburban family who played by the rules and are being punished by the GOP in their obsession with ACA de-funding:

by McKenzie Romero Oct 04 - 7:52pm
SALT LAKE CITY The Utah Department of Workforce Services has seen a 500 percent increase of people requesting unemployment since the government shutdown turned federal employees away from work Tuesday.
The state-run office usually process 2,000 unemployment claims a week, but since Tuesday has taken on 10,000, said Bill Starks, DWS unemployment insurance director.
"Starting Tuesday, when the furlough notices started going out, our claim center and our Internet site kind of lit up," Starks said.
Among the applicants is Gordon McKinney, who submitted his unemployment claim once he learned he and most of his co-workers at the Internal Revenue Service had been deemed "nonessential" for the duration of the shutdown.
As a single father, McKinney is the sole wage earner providing for his West Haven family. He has to be out of work for a month before he can apply for food stamps, but in the meantime, unemployment could cover nearly half his lost wages.
But McKinney and other IRS employees would rather just get back to work. "I have two kids. I haven't had a paycheck since Monday, and I'm not expecting any money until we get this government back up and running," he said. "We've got house payments, rent payments, utilities to pay, and we have food we have to provide for our kids."
Furloughed federal employees are eligible for unemployment assistance following a one-week waiting period that started the day they were first turned away from work, Starks said. After that, they can begin filing weekly claims for assistance until they return to work.
However, if furloughed employees are later approved for retroactive pay, the unemployment assistance must be paid back.
The House of Representatives is expected to vote this weekend on whether to provide back pay for federal workers. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va., posted Friday on Twitter that he expects the legislation to pass.
While DWS administrators did what they could to prepare the staff for the wave of unemployment claims, they didn't anticipate that when they called to verify wages for federal employees, no one would be there to answer the phone.
"Unfortunately what we're finding is some of those federal agencies aren't staffed to respond to those verification requests," Starks said. "What we're doing now with federal furlough employees is we're telling them up front to provide some proof of earnings."
Proof of earnings can include check stubs, W-2 forms or earnings statements, and a waiver has been put in place so furloughed employees aren't required to seek new employment while they're receiving unemployment, Starks said.
With so many applications being processed, Starks encourages Utahns filing unemployment claims to do so online in hopes of expediting their request. An online chat option is available on the site during business hours to help claimants through the process.
Starks pointed out that Utah taxpayers don't need to worry about being hit by the high unemployment payout. Once it gets running again, the federal government will reimburse claims for furloughed employees dollar for dollar.
In the meantime, McKinney has had some tough talks with his two teenagers about sacrifices they will have to make. The first thing to go will be their Internet and cable.
For 15-year-old Riley McKinney, that means not being able to do schoolwork at home, or getting to watch his favorite shows.
The family has already canceled all plans to eat out, go to the movies or other activities, and has cut back on driving to save gas.

What planet do you live on? Businesses love what's happening, they're making more money by working less people longer and harder since the crash of 08'!! What news or national media sites are you reading? The stock market is above 15k...with a government shut down, fool. Companies are making a killing! Do you get out much? Any malls where there's suburban housing close by are teeming with shoppers buying electronics, clothing, shoes, household goods! Restaurants are full...are you kidding me!
The national debt WAS 10% over our GDP...now it's BELOW 5%!!! Those are facts! Look it up, the debt was cut in half as Barry O claimed.
Now of course everything is not stable, it never has been.
And this BS about companies not hiring because they don't know what to expect...who do you think you're talking to, where is it written that a company has to know what going to happen today, tomorrow, or an hour from now?
That's not capitalism!

Everythings a chance, you either have customers or you don't. No one can predict with 100% certainty that consumers are going to purchase a product, unless it's a toilet paper manufacturer, a gas, electric, or oil company, or some other "necessity". Nobody has to buy pizza to survive.

Businesses already know what they'll be paying in taxes. They're already dropping health insurance...one less expenditure, and the Bush tax cuts are now the Obama tax cuts because he signed on to continue them. You have nothing to complain about other than the fact that Barry O doesn't look like what you're used to seeing at 1600 Pennsylvania ave.

You're excuses are lame and old, and the GOP is toast come 2014 & 2016 except in deep red hickville areas.

ACORN is defunct...did you get the memo, Newtboy Party? Food Stamp abuse, huh? Why? Because ONE L.A. surfer dude bragged about buying a Sushi roll with his SNAP card? C' mon dude, there's millions of families who're getting SNAP because of being layed off due to outsourcing.

Fast n Furious was a snafu, but that's just the tip of the spear of what OUR CIA has been doing since the assassination of Ngo Diem in Vietnam and starting internal conflicts around the globe.

You're blaming Barry O for following American protocol that's been in place for over 100 years. Your boy G.Dubbya, got the spying started with signing the Patriot Act, so don't go whining now, son. It was all good for you "Right Wingers" when the Repubs started this BS?

Now shut up and eat your pudding.

When was the last time you received a medical bill, smart guy? Do you know what an E.R. visit cost for someone who goes in for a acute abdominal pain, and finds out it's just constipation...$675.00, that you and I pay because the person doesn't have insurance and never pays on the bill. It gets passed to us, dummy.$675 for a $3 pill at the dollar store! Hospitals are ripping us off.

"Obamacare makes them buy their own 'affordable' insurance policy through a group of insurance exchange companies. The government only helps pay if the person is really unable to.
