That's 1000 degrees Celsius.
crazy how a diffused flame can burn so evenly that it would make all the columns fail at the same time as they fell pretty much straight down. If what pop science says is true, its probably the first and the only time that will ever happen and its one in a million. Oh yeah and it happened to how many buildings? having pictures and accounts from fire fighters that they saw molten steel and pictures of slag ( that's what steel becomes if it is molten and not protected by atmosphere) isn't a conspiracy kiddy. http://m.youtube.com/watch...
All I'm trying to say is that you can't say the steel didn't melt when there is proof! Listen to these fire fighters http://m.youtube.com/watch...
You're saying they don't know what they're talking about when they look at a burning building????????? Maybe if they were just a couple of meathead stupid cops, kiddy, but these guys are real heros!

god forbid a physics professor and a bunch of witnesses saw molten metal and evidence there after.
I don't care how many times its happened, if you know about steel, you know there is no way a diffused flame can heat that evenly were the darn building falls straight down like a demo crew dropped it. Probably not even a one in a million chance let alone 3 times. We could crash another one into a building to try it out but i'd rather just go with what we already know about steel and the type of flame/heat you need to melt it.

Explain how to demo a skyscraper without anyone finding out

Do you think the Pentagon was hit by a missile?

Because there are many pictures of plane engine debris.

You will get a fat woman, an old run down double wide. Now you will have to make arrangements to move it, on your dollar. Or you might like it in Louisville, it is better than where you reside Stu. One travels with the President. I know what is on board. But no use telling you, you already know. There isn't anything you don't know is there? You tell your share of lies, that I do know. gossip. Yawn. You're easily entertained aren't you. Thanks for adding that jets carry fuel. You're right, nobody knew untillyou slipped it in the middle of all your bull.

FACT: Many conspiracy theorists point to FEMA's preliminary report, which said there was relatively light damage to WTC 7 prior to its collapse. With the benefit of more time and resources, NIST researchers now support the working hypothesis that WTC 7 was far more compromised by falling debris than the FEMA report indicated. "The most important thing we found was that there was, in fact, physical damage to the south face of building 7," NIST's Sunder tells PM. "On about a third of the face to the center and to the bottom—approximately 10 stories—about 25 percent of the depth of the building was scooped out." NIST also discovered previously undocumented damage to WTC 7's upper stories and its southwest corner.

NIST investigators believe a combination of intense fire and severe structural damage contributed to the collapse, though assigning the exact proportion requires more research. But NIST's analysis suggests the fall of WTC 7 was an example of "progressive collapse," a process in which the failure of parts of a structure ultimately creates strains that cause the entire building to come down. Videos of the fall of WTC 7 show cracks, or "kinks," in the building's facade just before the two penthouses disappeared into the structure, one after the other. The entire building fell in on itself, with the slumping east side of the structure pulling down the west side in a diagonal collapse.

According to NIST, there was one primary reason for the building's failure: In an unusual design, the columns near the visible kinks were carrying exceptionally large loads, roughly 2000 sq. ft. of floor area for each floor. "What our preliminary analysis has shown is that if you take out just one column on one of the lower floors," Sunder notes, "it could cause a vertical progression of collapse so that the entire section comes down."

There are two other possible contributing factors still under investigation: First, trusses on the fifth and seventh floors were designed to transfer loads from one set of columns to another. With columns on the south face apparently damaged, high stresses would likely have been communicated to columns on the building's other faces, thereby exceeding their load-bearing capacities.

Second, a fifth-floor fire burned for up to 7 hours. "There was no firefighting in WTC 7," Sunder says. Investigators believe the fire was fed by tanks of diesel fuel that many tenants used to run emergency generators. Most tanks throughout the building were fairly small, but a generator on the fifth floor was connected to a large tank in the basement via a pressurized line. Says Sunder: "Our current working hypothesis is that this pressurized line was supplying fuel [to the fire] for a long period of time."

WTC 7 might have withstood the physical damage it received, or the fire that burned for hours, but those combined factors—along with the building's unusual construction—were enough to set off the chain-reaction collapse.

" WTC 7, which was not hit by hijacked planes, collapsed in 6.6 seconds, just .6 of a second longer than it would take an object dropped from the roof to hit the ground. "Where is the delay that must be expected due to conservation of momentum, one of the foundational laws of physics?" he asks. "That is, as upper-falling floors strike lower floors —and intact steel support columns — the fall must be significantly impeded by the impacted mass.... How do the upper floors fall so quickly, then, and still conserve momentum in the collapsing buildings?" The paradox, he says, "is easily resolved by the explosive demolition hypothesis, whereby explosives quickly removed lower-floor material, including steel support columns, and allow near free-fall-speed collapses." These observations were not analyzed by FEMA, NIST nor the 9/11 Commission, he says."

the American people have voiced their opinion in unity against further conflict in the middle east. Obama had to back pedal. I guess the whole killing bin laden thing didn't get people all fired up about going into another illegal war as they thought it would. The sad thing is if you look at American opinion on a war in Syria, Putin better represents them than Obama by at least trying to be more diplomatic while evidence is gathered and a case is made. We need to be careful anyway as Obama has appointed many of the same cabinet members as Bush did, don't make the same mistakes we made in Iraq again.

Funny, Putin reaching out to the citizens of the United States. Don't trust Obama or Putin. One thing is for sure, Putin has put Barry in his place and he is running this show! Putin implies that Barry wants to support or is supporting terrorists in Syria. Rather odd! Putin has added to the doubt of Barry being capable of managing a so-called crisis.

Exaggeration. Putin did nothing of the kind. You wingnuts look for any reason to go against the president. When bush had a shoe thrown at him in Baghdad, did you rally behind the shoe thrower?

Putin obliterated Obama. Even the far left is appalled at how tiny he made their boy look.
Dis the president of any nation, much less the second most powerful nation on the planet throw a shoe at Bush? I must have missed that. More to the point, that act was one of blind, ignorant rage, not a foreign policy beat down.
As for "selective amnesia," why don't you name the last US president to have been reduced to insignificance by a foreign leader.

Reduced to insignificance? You are insane. If you haven't noticed, Syria is suddenly willing to work with the UN to turn over their chemical weapons. Is that because of the insignificance of President Obama?

You do realize, that by your own definition, you are giving aid and comfort to the enemy, don't you Nate?
