No, not a big corp. Private office. Never boring. And if we don't have meetings, I can take my dogs to work.
You work for a big firm for 30 years, you have some major b_lls. Or they forgot you're there and just keep generating your check.
Sorry, I'm a little tired an goofy. One white russian would put me into the giggles. See, now I'm having obscene thoughts about 'two white russians.'
I thought your boss had operations all over the place I assumed that you were working for some privately held corporation or something like that.

I am actually trying to get caught up on work. I had a bunch of files that piled up on me last year. it's like they all got to the 85% level and nothing else happened after that. So I have sent out a bunch of bills put together a bunch of binders and clear my plate so that I can kind of get things organized in move forward. So thelong and the short of it is that I won't be ripping the heads off of any cashiers this weekend, but you never know. Opportunities may present themselves.
The other thing I'm trying to do is part of my New Year's resolution I bought Dragon NaturallySpeaking a few years ago and have kind of had an off and on relationship with it. I never got high enough on the learning curve to be proficient enough with it where it was easier than typing things out by hand. I think I'm at that level now in fact I am using the software to crank out this message to you guys. It's a lot more fun than typing though it is kind of weird to be talking to myself in these halting tones in my office. But then again I am working from home today so it's not like anybody else's the roll my eyes at him dictating to a message board.
I always get bogged down with paperwork intensive things so I'm kind of trying to make an extra effort to use the software. Hopefully it can get my workflow going more efficiently again.
I was also trying to start my New Year's workout program. I bought the Power 90 disks online (40 bucks), bought a bunch of free weights and an overpriced mat from Wal-Mart. I was going to start on February 1 but still have a bunch of things that were blowing up in my face that I had to deal with. Tomorrow is February 15 and it's a Friday perfect day to start this up.
It's a 90 day program so that should take me through about May 15. If you're lucky I'll be so sore and miserable the next day maybe I will snap at somebody else and I can create another thread to entertain everybody.
Bobby, you're BORING. Do you like do anything with other people? Socialize? Oh wait, you're too much into insulting, ain't ya?

I didn't even know there were any Methodists on the East Coast. I thought everybody out there is either Catholic, Episcopalian or Jew.
LMAO Why? Because the Catholics were fleeing religious prosecution when they settled here? No we have about everything but not many Muslim.

I'm counting on my fingers here. Right now we have operations going on in 6 countries. As 'individual proprietorships.' Only thing that is incorporated is a small charter airline...like 6 birds. And the charitable foundation, named after his mother, is incorporated in PA. He is the largest individual stockholder of a large corp. and he's been on alot of Boards. Really no reason to inc. most of them.

Oh, Bob. WA is only interested if my husband croaks, leaving me a mound of insurance money. Then he says he'll come by once a week and help me spend it.

That's because actually doing the work, you know more than they do. It's a constant.

Far west side of Cbus looks like Mogodishu some days.

I'm really pretty tolerant of a lot of things. But when you walk into Walmart at night needing to pick up a few things, it gets really humorous when the clerk is Somali and the customer is redneck out of West Jeff. Redneck, there with wife and kids, wife has tube top and Daisy Dukes painted on a 250-pound 5'1" body, putting things like doe estrus on the conveyor belt and the clerk asks what it is and reals back in horror, while the wife wonders aloud how in the world can a woman be so stupid as to dress that way. I actually did witness an event like this a couple years ago in fall. Hilarious.

Sometimes the juxtaposition of things slays me. Unlike Bobby, I keep my mouth shut and just laugh.

Georgesville. I don't typically go that way. Since that was over 2 years ago, I reckon I was down that way because of the way Hilliard-Rome was torn up or I was coming back from Lancaster--spent a good amount of time down there before my mom died.
