LMAO! I may take you up on that, WA. But, once a week????? You gotta do better than that! Thank you for the gracious offer. Maybe I'll just have him cremated to speed up the process.(Bless his heart)
Yeah, once a week for you. I can't have you get to 'open' on me and following me around like a lil pup. Can't have you P.D.(-enis Drunk) at your age now. We'd never get things done. Have to think up ways to spend that life insurance check. You only live once and tomorrow has no guarantees.

<quoted text> E Bob,[ that sounds urban-E Bob]. I knew of a guy they called E Rob around a bar I used to frequent in the early 2000's. E Rob smoked crack, and he'd wash cars, sneakers, windows, sweep in front of stores, clean up dog shit, whatever, so he could buy a hit of crack.
Anyway, everything in one way or another revolves around race relations in America. Someone will make a slight about blacks on EBT, youth crime rates (blacks) jobless lazy blacks (in code) unless it's Spook or crazy hick Hey Now, America can't get away from race discussions.
I'm one of those strange people in life. I tend to like quirky people. As long as I can have a good, sick laugh with someone I tend to like them regardless of color, background, or where they are on the social scale. Same sense of humor translates to us seeing things the same way, so that's always the source of bonding for me.

By the same token, I am acutely aware of my surroundings. If someone annoys me in public, I'm not above saying "stupid N-word" or "stupid Jew" or "stupid WASP" to myself when annoyed. My only problem is that I see that as normal behavior for 80% of the world, and I naturally rebel at people like Reader who want to mandate that as being some sort of crime against humanity.

I know a very nice Canadian attorney who works for the City Attorney. She is black and from the Carribbean. She grew up there but went to law school here and she thought all the race talk in this country is just plain weird to her.

I think she is in the right place. It is part of the conversation but it definitely is a strange one from both sides of the coin. Whites are annoyed by it, and rightfully so because most of us had nothing to do with slavery. Blacks use it as a crutch, to get stuff from whitey, or to explain every slight (real or not). And then you have the chicken and egg thing where some of those slights are egged on by this very conversation.

The closest I can think of would be being a gypsy or a Jew in Europe. My dental hygenist is Jewish and is going to Europe to visit her sister. I was joking with her that "I thought they got rid of all you people over there." She says they are very anti-Semetic over there, to which I responded that she shouldn't take things personally because they hate everybody over there. Too many people/cultures sharing too little space.

But then with the Jews, they've been with them for thousands of years, and have every reason to dislike them.

I know this is rambling on, but I still rememeber what a college Swedish history professor of mine once said, "Around the world, everybody hates people who are either different and successful, or different and unsuccessful."

I see you are green with envy.
When was the last time you were laid?.....9/11/2001 was the last time for you?
It does stand to reason anyone as repulsive as you, would have a decade between sexual experiences.
Not many men are that desperate.
Nice day to you, too.

<quoted text>Noticed, looking at time stamps that you disappeared until after 4pm, which is when hubby gets home, convenient, for you to not respond to me. I need to reiterate that there is a significant amount of time, hours, from my last post to when gokeefe posted.
Apparently gokeefe, nor anyone, is allowed to disagree with you if they are remotely associated with me.
I do have other things to do when hubby gets home. It's called family time. LG gets home at the same time. Ever hear of a family unit? Helping LG with homework, sitting down to dinner together, listening to each other about how all of our days went, etc. Novel idea, that works for me. Jealous?
You know what, I could have said something mean about why you have to log off when hubby gets home. I chose not to, simply saying that you have other things to do.

You wanna fight about that now?

Didn't know you were a fashion designer too! A skunk hat and a French maid outfit. Rocking it!!!! I guarantee no one will have on the same outfit as me...if they do, I'm distancing myself from that person as if they were a skunk in heat.

Well I several talents. Usually bady bag is what most people need. But a skunk hat will work with you just fine.

Try putting out some buttered and salted corn for your skunk. Make friends with it.

I am actually trying to get caught up on work. I had a bunch of files that piled up on me last year. it's like they all got to the 85% level and nothing else happened after that. So I have sent out a bunch of bills put together a bunch of binders and clear my plate so that I can kind of get things organized in move forward. So thelong and the short of it is that I won't be ripping the heads off of any cashiers this weekend, but you never know. Opportunities may present themselves.

The other thing I'm trying to do is part of my New Year's resolution I bought Dragon NaturallySpeaking a few years ago and have kind of had an off and on relationship with it. I never got high enough on the learning curve to be proficient enough with it where it was easier than typing things out by hand. I think I'm at that level now in fact I am using the software to crank out this message to you guys. It's a lot more fun than typing though it is kind of weird to be talking to myself in these halting tones in my office. But then again I am working from home today so it's not like anybody else's the roll my eyes at him dictating to a message board.

I always get bogged down with paperwork intensive things so I'm kind of trying to make an extra effort to use the software. Hopefully it can get my workflow going more efficiently again.

I was also trying to start my New Year's workout program. I bought the Power 90 disks online (40 bucks), bought a bunch of free weights and an overpriced mat from Wal-Mart. I was going to start on February 1 but still have a bunch of things that were blowing up in my face that I had to deal with. Tomorrow is February 15 and it's a Friday perfect day to start this up.

It's a 90 day program so that should take me through about May 15. If you're lucky I'll be so sore and miserable the next day maybe I will snap at somebody else and I can create another thread to entertain everybody.

Tell me when this thread is updated:
