I know they'll protect thierselves and their families. You do not know much about farm boys who are excellent shots and not afaid of anything. 5. A white male, in today's climate, qualifys for no minority status, and is routinely passed over for everything.
I have a friend, 36, left leg amputated 5/24/2010. Almost two years. He also has a trach in his throat and cannot talk or breath correctly. He has an excellent work history since he was 14 years old. Last employer, Goodyear for 13 years. He has been denied SS disability 3 times. Why? All of his utilities have been disconnected at one time or another, his house is in foreclosure, he has joint cutosdy of his 4 and 8 year old children, and he cannot qualify for any sort of assistance. Why?
I'll tell you the truth, 3 weeks ago when I took him to see about disability AGAIN, the employee at SS said, "Well, you're not black or pregnant, so it could take years." Her words, not mine. You don't call that discrimination?
You know, WA, you promote racism more than anyone on here.
I don't think or talk like you do. What's up with that?
Of course that happened.

I didn't know if you knew the history. I think you have to take what he says with a grain of salt. When he says kill whitey, it's like when one of us says something about knigg-hers. I don't think it's meant to be taken seriously on either side of the fence.
Listen, please know sincerely, all of you guys, I APPRECIATE when you give me a 'heads up.' I'm still the new kid on the block and you've been around...oh, about a century, right, Bob?:-)

And I'm quite certain that they also heard a government employee swear that the guy wouldn't get benefits because he's not black or pregnant, right?

Come on, Everybody! Let's do the "TWIST." Let's
"TWIST" again, like we did last summer! "TWISTING" time is here! "Gonna do the TWIST and it sounds like Reader!"

Where in my post did I say anyone swore to anything? You're an obnoxious cow. Get out of the closet and get a life. Or get a man. There's a novel thought.

Maybe she felt free to speak her thoughts since I am not a 'out of control, politically correct, condesending tight ass' like you.

I go off on a customer service type about once a year. I didn't go off on anybody today, I just heckled.
I was at Kroger this afternoon and the lines were all backed up. I had too many coupons for the self-service lanes, and the express lane was empty so I switched lines and went there.
This young cashier says to me, "Just for future reference sir, this is an express lane."
I said, "I know that but your lines are moving slow and this line was empty."
She said, "Well, you didn't have to say that sir. That's rude." (It was nothing of the sort.)
So I said, "Well, I think it's rude when your lines move too slow."
She got in a huff and called her head cashier to take over pointing at me. She started stomping off to the break room I guess. As she was stomping off I started heckling her, in a loud voice. I said, "What a cry baby!" a couple of times, followed by, "Why don't you grow up, would ya?"
The idiot behind me said something to me about how he doesn't like this stuff and just wants to get out of there. So that set me off even more and I called the manager over and told him what happened. I pointed at the idiot behind me again and how he was blaming me for what happened. The manager apologized and I said, you don't have to say you're sorry just tell your people to be nicer to their customers. It's not the end of the world because someone went through the express lane with too many (but not an obscene amount) items.
Okay ... open for comments.
I don't have a problem if the lines are slow and people use the self-check, but when they clot up the self-check register with 2 months of grocery that was rude to other customers. I once went off on them.

I try to be cordial when I shop big and one additional thing that annoys me more, is when the person in front of him write a fcking check and slow everyone down. Who fcking use a checkbook anymore?

I do, but it doesn't take that much longer... they (Kroger) run it through their check reader and that's that.

If this was in my area, I'd be calling BS...I've never seen an empty express line. They always put the absolute slowest cashiers at the express lane, and they take longer than the regular lines.

The regular cashiers at my Krogers (we have two) are really fast, they go faster than I can unload the cart. If SeriousLady was unloading they'd really be waiting on her, I don't sort my stuff on the conveyor belt like she does. But then our cashiers are of the "other" race too.

Reader, when asking a question, you should wait for a response instead of inserting your own. A new version of the 'TWIST' everybody! Whoopee.

Have to disagree. At the Kroger on Hilliard-Rome at Roberts, I've seen both 15 Item lanes manned but unused for several minutes at times.

Oh, I never sort on the conveyor belt. I sort it in my cart before I get in line. I really hate grocery shopping. And I like to bag my own stuff. I don't care how heavey they are. The cashier or bag person will put in like, two cans, and then double bag it. Bad for the enviroment.

For consideration:

"Hi! My name is Roberto de Enzyte. I live in Ciudad Juarez. I want to go to Texas for work, but the lines to get in the legal way are too long, so I head west a few kilos and cross the border at night. Then I get job in El Paso, while the other locos still waiting in line. I'm too special to wait in line!"

I just have abominable luck with check-out lines at Kroger. Even though the regular cashiers are fast, I always get behind someone with a problem. But they seem to put whoever is the slowest on the express lines. Must be punishment.
