From the St Lucie County Supervisor of Elections, http://www.slcelections.com/
"NOTE*- TURNOUT PERCENTAGES WILL SHOW OVER 100% DUE TO A TWO PAGE BALLOT. THE TABULATION SYSTEM (GEMS) PROVIDES VOTER TURNOUT AS EQUAL TO THE TOTAL CARDS CAST IN THE ELECTION DIVIDED BY THE NUMBER OF REGISTERED VOTERS. ALSO NOTE THAT SOME VOTERS CHOSE NOT TO RETURN BY MAIL THE SECOND CARD CONTAINING THE AMENDMENTS."
So your "incriminating" 141% turnout was actually closer to 70%.
Interesting. That's the kind of thing a responsible journalist might turn up in about 15 minutes. But the forces behind making this factoid a viral "truth" on the internet are not committed to responsibiity or ethics.

Be careful what you trust on the internet.

I generally use some vacation days around family holidays. Time to catch up on housecleaning and enjoy.

What does that mean? You vote Republican but don't want to accept any responsibility for the party?

Very few people actually make up "the party", you are only a party member in Ohio if you are an elected partisan official or an elected member of the County Central Committee.

I will vote for the most conservative candidate. They do happen to be mostly Republican.

BS skimmer.....just simply that......your posting history proves that.

My property taxes in Westerville unfortunately are paying for folks like you to sit around, eat doughnuts and bytch about how they and the "oppressed class" are abused......

I would laugh but well, it is just no longer funny.......

Enjoy your union wages, full retirement and benefits compliments of the "man"......Keep on collecting rent from your tenants while you bytch about capitalism.......

You suggesting that I don't enjoy the holidays with my family?

Well, in any case, I hope that your holiday is enjoyable.

Then you should know by now that I don't discuss current work specifics here.

However, your comment that your Westerville property taxes pay my union salary simply reveals how far off your guesses about my employment are.

Apparently you have been picking up details posted by George--who also makes assumptions.

Who did you vote for in the Presidential election?

Who ran for any office in the Conservative Party?

My comment was pays people "like" you......I am aware you are not in Westerville......since you have talked about your neighborhood Ad nauseam.....

You have posted under your real name skimmer lest you forget.
Whether or not you are in the union I don't know but if you still work at, again what you have posted on topix, you are paid by taxpayer dollars......

Unless you have retired or are working part time, your incessant and multiple daytime posts are being made on the taxpayer dime.......

Information about you is from what you have chosen to reveal on topix.....

I voted for Romney. He turned out to be a pretty good conservative. But Santa Claus won the day. Now we will have to suffer through a Great Great Depression for people to begin to take responsibility for their own lives again.

This will be far bloodier than the Depression.

At the minimum we are headed for low intensity conflict like the Troubles in Ulster.

At the max, we are talking full scale civil war akin to Yugoslavia and Lebanon.

Republicans were in charge cutting taxes, unions and jobs leading up to both the Great Depression and The Bush Depression (that we're still in)

That's the problem with you hypothetical idiots. What you want has been tried and failed miserable each and every time.

You're a Republican, no matter what you want to tell yourself.

And yet the opposite was done in France, and France is worse off!

I have my doubts. I think we are more likely to just suffer through it. But there will likely be much unrest as hungry people want food. It won't be a pretty time either way.
