Probably not simply because I don't see Detroit losing to Dallas.

Wouldn't this be a better conversation to have with your son?

Shall I call him at work and have it? He could take the night off and then you could make his car and insurance payment.

Yeah...and? I'm not allowed to discuss the subject on this thread?

And you wonder why people correctly call you a troll. I doubt if you even know which sport this thread is about.

Nah! Even if they do it will be a probable repeat of a few years ago. GO PENGUINS though!

I would just think you would want to talk to someone about it that you know. A friend, your son. You know. The way healthy people do.

No, heartbreak is coming.

Most BJ fans also follow the Browns so they're used to it.

Because people never talk to strangers about sports, right? Those three sports talk radio stations here in town only take calls from family members, huh?

Crosby is a punk. Great player, but a punk nonetheless.

Not much of a Crosby fan myself, but I definitely enjoy Malkin, and Iginla!

There should have been another voting option:

Don't care.

Nobody cares that you don't care.

Go play in traffic, drink bleach or do something else that's fatal.

Nice day to you too, fungus-brain.

Had the option been included, I could have checked it and moved on. Instead I had to wade through all of George's rants.

The reason I don't care (which I know you don't care about) is that time and the NHL have ruined Columbus hockey. Back in the days of the Owls and the Checkers, you could go to a game, drink beer, smoke cigars until you couldn't see the other side of the Coliseum. The tickets were cheap and you didn't have to deal with seat licenses. The players didn't wear helmets. More importantly, very few women came to the games, and most importantly, you could count on at least one fight on the ice per period. Then the Chill came to town, women started showing up, there were fewer fights, prices started getting out of control and the game went downhill. The Blow Jackets put the stake in the heart of all of it.

On this subject, I have the same longing for the good old days that all the knuckle-dragger conservatives have on a daily basis.
