Horrible tragedy to families with missing relatives all these years.
Maybe there's a chance for closure now.

Its a shame such a nice car as a 1969 Camaro had to be ruined by dumping it in a lake. That car would be worth some bucks today.

Must have bought that one when you were about 3 :) I've missed you and hope you are well. How have things been in the Topix world lately?

Well sheit....look at what Catman's cat dragged in. Glad to see you posting! I inquired if anyone had heard from you a couple of months ago. How are you doing?

I apologize in advance for the personal nature of this post and its complete irrelevance to the topic at hand.

Bizzy and Glitter, I am fairly well, thank you for asking. I go for my 2 1/2 year checkup next Wednesday (my birthday), so hopefully I will get nothing but happy birthday kind of news. The only real problem I am having is boredom. Still not able to find suitable employment, so I'm volunteering a few days a week at a local hospital.

The family is fantastic. Sam is now a sophomore at Xavier, having fun and studying Political Science. Jake is in graduate school at Cornell (full ride plus a nice stipend to be a teachers assistant), he's living on his own and sounds like he's a very busy young man.

The only reason I haven't been on topix for a while is the toxic nature of many of the discussions here. I truly felt it was not the most beneficial thing for my health.

Speaking of toxic, is George still a prolific poster? Funny as it may sound, I kind of miss his unique view.

I hope you both are well. And if there's anymore gatherings, in Columbus or otherwise, you can count me in.

Mark, I really think the news, on your BIRTHDAY!!!!! Will be great! Happy birthday to you!

Wow, the boys are well on their way to good futures. I'm sure you and your wife are so proud! Is she still at the same hospital?

Sorry to hear about the job situation. Bummer! Wish you had the pizza place? Did you ever sell the building?

As far as topix being toxic....some things never change. LOL
And I agree about reading so much negative posts...not a good choice when you're healing!

Well it was so good to hear from you again! Let me know the test results !
Keep on trucking!

Investigators are now looking at the possibility of the two cars with passengers having been blown into the lake by any number of tornadoes that hit the area in the early 70's.

Glad to get an update. On the positive, at least you are keeping yourself busy and I'm sure have positive insight for those that are in the hospital. Good for you.

Georgie has had fifty name changes...he keeps getting booted and reincarnated :) Yes, he his still here.

Happy Birthday! Nothing but good wishes on your check up. Try not to disappear for so long. Some of us worry about ya!
