In a settlement like this everyone comes away with something that they can live with. Ms. Hale can now work for Columbus City Schools where her lifestyle choices are a better fit.

I bet she is getting a nice cash award too. George is going to have to ante up at church!

Why didn't Ms. Hale refuse a settlement offer and press forward to champion her suit on behalf of all LGBTQIABCDEFs under Mayor Mike's code?

Because she knew she'd lose.

No he's not.
I'm telling my pastor why he won't see anything in the basket from me for a month. That will send a message to the bishop that caving doesn't pay.

Ridiculous. If that's the case, the Vatican, with its endless supply of financial resources could have stomped her.

Both parties had incentives to settle. So they did.

Go read "Getting to Yes". One of the most useful books you'll ever pick up.

Maybe she'll get hired at Hilliard. Then you can pay her out of your property taxes, and at church.

Kudos to you for standing up for your own principles. She violated the terms of her contract and is lucky she was offered a settlement.

Sure you are Georgie, sure you are.

Right after you get that Hilliard school board straightened out.

Good grief, I am sick and tired of her or him, whatever he or she is!

They should hire the rodeo clown! I love him!

Not likely at her age, nor her lightning rod notoriety.
As I said, I'm taking a one month hiatus from the offertory. I'm not paying a dime to that dyke.

You think the pastor is going to put the strong arm on me, wee man?
That money is going to the Blue Jackets Foundation.

Thanks, Rowdy. I can't say I'm surprised at the settlement...the diocese doesn't have the stomach to drag it out even to a victory. They need to grow a pair.

Well, if you miss the next meeting it might be too late.

But you are Georgie, just not your fair share. That means the church will have less money to fund the charitable works you like to brag about.

Why do you spit on your church's ideals?

Carla's going to stride off into the manly sunset of retirement, IMO.

I watch "pro-choice" Catholics do that all the time. I'd say they have more to worry about than me.

Assume you meant the church!

She probably received her retirement and does not want to reveal that is all she got!
