What so many of you missed is that FKA Reader often disparages suburbs such as Dublin and its residents. Look at her first post closely and you'll see there is a comma, which makes me believe she edited her comment so that, if called on it, she could say she only stated that the paper said he was from Dublin. Regular readers might (should?) think, based on hundreds (thousands?) of previous comments that there was an implied snarky comment and a hope that the shooter from Dublin was a rich white kid. And that, folks, is what it was all about.
Up here in Northeast Ohio, my area of Medina is regularly bashed by the downtown Deluded White Liberals (DWLs) who think we are all paranoid rednecks.

If you look at Cleveland's crime rates, you would know that we are not paranoid, but rational.

(Downtown Cleveland swarms with cops, in fact it is the only area that does, which I think is deliberate)

I never knew they existed in Ohio, up here they are only in Condo developments.

I never figured that people wanted more zoning powers.(HOAs are how Houston gets away with minimal zoning, private sector FTW)

Worth every penny. Not only does it enforce the appearance of the individual properties, but we use it to pay for and maintain the entrances to the subdivision and when the streetlights went in, we took a vote and upgraded from the ugly city standard "cobra" lights to the faux gas lamp looking ones.

Interesting, when a house goes decrepit up here, it's usually because the owner was foreclosed upon. People routinely damage the property before leaving, and the bank has to pay for maintenance. Houses are not selling.

There's a 400K house on my street listed at 775K, the owners are deluded.
