Maybe it's not the pot.
Did you hit your head?

No Tip.

Feel free to link a post I have written that causes you to reasonably arrive at a conclusion that I am either a theist, or an atheist.

I'll wait.

Have fun.

America is not just lines on map, it is a specific ethnic people and culture.
To be a leftist, you are dedicated to eliminating all three.(globalism, multiculturalism, immigration)
Well then I guess Mr. Vonnegut doesn't meet your definition of a "leftist", does he?

You are confusing Duke with Che. Duke rides the fence of Pascal's wager. Che is firmly in the atheist side, though in my opinion Che is a de facto Muslim

Either one believes what Tip believes or one is an atheist. There can be no other way.

I didn't label Mr. Vonnegut.
His words speak for themselves.
As do Bible verses.
So, you cannot articulate how you have arrived at your assertions?

Fair enough.

I did not define what a leftist is about. I defined certain actions they do.

Vonnegut was against Christianity, which comprises a significant part of "American" culture. Therefore in part he favored the abolishing of America.

The preferred term would be "infidel". It's Islamic analogue is normally "Kuffir" though Westerners normally use the first quoted term which is Latin rather than the second which is Arabic.

I did not want to waste money that could be better spent on hookers and blow.

Actually, I don't remember ever seeing Che discuss the subject either. But as Che notes above, Tip seems to think that if one doesn't agree with her, one must surely be an Atheist.

That is analogous to concluding that if one's neighbor doesn't agree that Nixon was the greatest president ever, the neighbor must surely be a Communist.

Silliness. Of Course...that sort of thing does indeed happen in North Korea.

I think you need to do some more reading. He said no such thing.

As you stated, Vonnegut was opinionated and vocal.
It would be impossible to miss his stated positions.

Tip, you do understand that if one is opposed to religion he or she is not necessarily opposed to God, right?

Perhaps by having this little discussion we have finally helped you to identify the fatal flaw in your reasoning.

Her? I don't worship Sophia. See Reader for info on that religion.

I did not establish a religion nor did I ever declare that anyone who "doesn't agree" with me is an atheist. Surely, you know that an atheist is anyone who doesn't believe in God. And as I have stated previously, I am not God.

It's very revealing that you continually divert accountability toward me -- and away from God.

Think on that.

Goodnight.

Here's a little tidbit for you Karl:

“Socialism" is no more an evil word than "Christianity." Socialism no more prescribed Joseph Stalin and his secret police and shuttered churches than Christianity prescribed the Spanish Inquisition. Christianity and socialism alike, in fact, prescribe a society dedicated to the proposition that all men, women, and children are created equal and shall not starve.”

You think I am an atheist. I've never written anything here that would give you reason to arrive at any conclusion about my beliefs, one way or another.

You've been outted Tippy.

I really like this one Karl...Makes me chuckle:

“When we passed a Catholic church, I recalled, he said, "You think your dad's a good chemist? They're turning soda crackers into meat in there. Can your dad do that?” Kurt Vonnegut
