Ms. Fey is very very good at what she does for a living. This country owes her many thanks.
I know people who can give you an answer needed to correctly answer any question on a test (within a given subject if asked) but when taking the test themselves, they do not function well and do poorly on the tests. That does not make them stupid. An interview, more importantly, one of her first interviews on the given subject or as a particular position does not stray too far from that.
