Over seven in 10 Obama voters, and 55 percent of Democrats, regret voting for President Obama's reelection in 2012, according to a new Economist/YouGov . com poll.

Conducted to test the media hype about a comeback by 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, the new poll found voters still uninspired by Romney, but also deeply dissatisfied with Obama who has so far failed to capitalize on his victory over 15 months ago.

The poll asked those who voted for Obama's reelection a simple question:“Do you regret voting for Barack Obama?”....

That's not what the poll results you cite say at all. Go and look at them.

You're right! The respondents are angry that they did not get their promised free latex fists and the promised extra fisting kits for their children or nieces and nephews.

As another commenter remarked on this poll, "Assuming most of them voted for Obama in 2008, this fits Einstein’s definition of insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again hoping for a different results."

You fall into that group.

It was a dishonest election with much media help to Obama and many cover ups at the administration level and other goverbment agencies. Still, Obama won, by not a large margin, and we suffer the reprecussions no matter which way we voted.

Somewhere around here I posted an article showing that in the example of the health care bill, the Republicans were clearly ignored by the Democrats and told they were not welcome. And, frankly, I remember that. And, frankly, at least during the Clinton administration (not a fan) I remember all KINDS of people working toward the end result of FMLA - your 'labels' were incidental and not germane to the cause.

This Dem v Rep is merely a distraction. Don't watch the hand held out in front of you; watch the one behind the back.

No, because it is absolutely incorrect and quite obviously intentionally misrepresents the results of the poll.
