Attempting to win points in a ridiculous argument about the relative service records of Dubya Bush and other politicians who had served in the military, and referring to former Democratic Senator and decorated war veteran Max Cleland, who lost three limbs when he picked up a grenade while on duty in a combat zone, this is what Paco had to say:
<quoted text>Only you would be stupid enough to say he lost his limbs in combat.
Considering that in the past several years the DOD has taken intolerable and miserly steps to limit the abilities of disabled veterans like Mr. Cleland to receive additional benefits for injuries received during combat, and given Paco's frequent attempts to paint himself as "pro-veteran", such talk from Paco has now been unmasked as self serving lip service to the causes of disabled vets who have given their lives and their bodies in service to this country nationwide.<quoted text>It's called at best, a tragic accident. At worst, negligence on the part of the private. But it's not a combat injury.
Your daughter said it was.
Try and stay on point, douche.
I urge all Topix posters who still retain a hint of integrity to tell this ungracious twit just what you think of his heartless statements.
