I for one want anyone (regardless of party) that disagrees with higher taxes, more spending, no debt limit, amnesty, the war on fossil fuels, etc. etc. to do their best to throw a wrench into the obama Chicago machine....
And that statement makes you borderline insane.

We've just come through 4 years of throwing every wrench possible against Obama, simply because he's Obama and the nation has suffered for it.

To willingly wish the nation ill just to make a failed political point indicates you have no grasp on the realities of our nation and it's needs.

See BB, I despise Republicans because they don't care about the well being of the entire nation and will cause any amount of suffering just to make their wrongheaded point. It's the old take my ball and go home. We need adults making these decisions and your party doesn't seem to have any in office right now.

BB, I'm going to apply your logic to another scenario and maybe it will then make sense to you.
Sigh....Not my logic at all....maybe yours.........

I said nothing about state rights at all K, my comments are re the federal government .......

Point is, obama was not crowned king, he was elected as the head of the executive branch of our federal government.....

Our representative form of government is adversarial and was designed that way by the founding fathers......

There is a reason for the separation of powers K....

Your slavery example is BS. By your logic, if the Democrats reverted to their (original position by the way) in favor of slavery, apparently you would argue that since they won the election, slavery should be reinstated and that Republicans (who freed the slaves) should get with the program.....

Just what makes you think that you know what is right for the country K? I frankly, am not willing to let you or the democrats be the judge of what is "wrongheaded".

When are you going to give obama any credit for where the economy is right now after 4 years in office......

I am sorry to hear you despise Republicans however.....
I have a lot of good friends that are Democrats some that are Republicans even.

Sigh.

This will go nowhere since you feel Republicans are permitted to play by different rules than anyone else. Most Republicans feel that way and that's most likely why this last election turned out as it did.

As Republicans you need to huddle, admit that the nation doesn't agree that taking in even less revenue will fix the problem of not bringing in enough and go from there.

I'm not saying they need to capitulate but they need to move more towards the center. You conservatives have deluded yourselves into thinking you're a larger more important voting bloc than you are. It's time to get real and face the fact that you're merely in the minority and you won't get your way.

I love how you guys duck out of calling yourselves Republicans when that's all you've ever voted and supported. You're anti-Democratic and I challenge you to name the last true conservative you supported.

The next step in your little club is to look at anyone who doesn't agree wholeheartedly with you as being wholeheartedly against you.

In this last election I voted Gary Johnson for pres., Sherrod Brown (a Dem) for Senate and Pat Tiberi (a Republican) for Rep. my local votes were across the board.

Point out one Democratic platform I'm totally embracing, as you accuse me of. I'll wait.

Um, Tony, history disagrees with you. Just look at the Republicans all through the 1920's and early 30's. The concern was for making the fast buck, not how the nation as a whole would be affected.

The Gramm-Leach-Bliley act was a huge step right to the this cliff we've been hanging off of. The Bush tax cuts and the unfunded wars sealed it. There is nothing in any of this, besides empty words, that did the nation any good.

From your post # 125

......and I quote........

"You conservatives have deluded yourselves into thinking you're a larger more important voting bloc than you are. It's time to get real and face the fact that you're merely in the minority and you won't get your way."

Hardly a ringing endorsement of your personal
"true" conservationism K....

By embracing obama and labeling those who dare to disagree with him as crybabies or as in my case insane, you are endorsing his platform, LOL
I don't know what part of that you don't get.....

Get ready for necessarily skyrocketing utility bills......
Get ready for amnesty for illegal aliens.......
Get ready for inflation and more debt......

All of which will be a de facto tax on the poor and the middle class........

BB, that's the problem with your type. There's a huge difference between my brand of conservatism and what you posers hide under.

It went exactly as I laid it out prior, since I don't wholeheartedly agree with your version than I must wholeheartedly embrace Obama's. That's faulty logic. Wait, logic is something right wingers don't possess or comprehend. 1 + 1 = anything other than 2 in your world.

My type???? LOL

You really don't have a clue about who I am and I resent you trying to put me in your little convenient slot......

Coming on here and defining logic using yourself as the bench mark and claiming to be the diviner of "true conservatism" is a bit more than just a little pretentious of you, it is down right humorous.....

Get a grip K.....

You like to alter what was actually posted in order to get, in your mind, a one up.

You resent the fact that I had you and your tactics pegged. Even predicted it and you went right ahead and lived up to prophecy.

I don't claim to be the standard bearer of anything other than what I believe.

Oh, clever one, you left out the statement that I endorsed explaining my stance on it. "As long as the cuts are substantial and the tax loopholes are closed. We need to work together for the betterment of this nation. Its time to stop all the bullshit and start making some real changes!"

Hardly a call for raising taxes.

I would love to see someone crunch the numbers on how much of a savings it would be if those on welfare, foodstamps, and Medicaid received no income tax refund since they don't pay in.

Are those some of the loopholes you were talking about closing kosmik?

I did not edit your post and responded your verbiage.....

I was not trying to get "one up" only observing that you seem rather high and mighty of late, hateful even.....

You don't know anything about me or my voting habits yet you seem to want to categorize me.

Yep.

Same as the ones that allow GE, Exxon-Mobil and several other giants to pay no tax.

Damn you're slow today. Started the New Years blast a little early? Still drowning in the Christmas cheer?

Posts 131 and 132 stand on their own. An example, I used the phrase 'my brand of conservatism'(indicating my personal belief of it including my voting record) and you stretched it to claim I was trying to be the standard bearer.

No, you haven't changed my posts but your replies are to issues I never raised or claimed. Simply because I don't think the Republicans are on the correct side of virtually any issue right now doesn't equate to me being an Obama worshipper.

It's not me who's changed as of late. Since your boy Mitt lost all of you wingnuts have been unhinged and it's a riot watching the meltdown occur.
