15 to 30 years for a single offense seems rather harsh to me. Would a female get 15-30 years for boinking a student?
And true friends stick with you through good times and bad. They don't cut you loose when you are no longer available for a few yucks and some beer.
Gee, I'm just funny that way, I guess...not wanting to socialize with convicted sexual offenders and all.

I didn't say I necessarily wanted to be with them especially if its a casual friend, but what's the point of having family and friends who won't stand up for you?

None of the teachers to my knowledge asked that he not be punished. They asked for leniency and did nothing wrong in doing so. Five years would have been plenty in this case.

Again, you don't railroad people because you don't agree with them. You also don't pull your kids out of school because the teachers asked the judge to be lenient.

You'll never find me standing up for an adult-child sex offender.
Or supporting those who do.
And, yeah, I would have pulled my kids out also.

Don't agree. And 15 years for a one time offense where a woman wouldn't be given even close to the same punishment borders on Sharia Law. You don't send someone to prison for an effective life sentence in a case like this.

If you think mobs shouldn't be allowed to railroad George Zimmerman then they also shouldn't be allowed to railroad teachers who were only expressing their personal opinions.
