We've all grown up and moved on

Not enough people making fun of Kinch

Not enough people for Kinch to harass

Big Johnson has become too predictable

I really don't think traffic is down at all, though Reality Speaks isn't around.

Your dismay? You've had you tree up since Thanksgiving. I haven't even made a list yet hoping the Mayans are correct. LOL

The tree up at Thanksgiving is a Central Ohio thing. Even after 21 years here, I can't get used to it. Ours went up last Saturday (a compromise; my wife wanted it up at Thanksgiving, like Glitter, but I was raised to do it on the weekend nearest December 10.)

All that dam work to get it together, tree up day after Thanksgiving, down January 1st. I do have artificial, if you have real, I can understand waiting.

It's real. A fir, and it has to be watered religiously to last 30 days.

Slug-slacker is more like it. Ugh. I went to artifical 10 years ago. Tired of picking up fir needles in July. I do put two 5' multi-light ones on the porch outside the french doors. I was looking at gift cards very longingly today.....
Over the weekend I got lighted wreaths in two windows and a huge lighted star hung from the front of the house. Seems excessive to me. You're an over achiever.

Sounds pretty. Always had an artificial tree, fireplace and a tree, not a good combo. The needles alone would push me over the edge of cuckoo. Keeping up with the shedding dogs is enough.

A cactus instead of a tree and hemlock instead of mistletoe would be more fitting for you. Concertina wire and axle grease on the roof to prevent reindeer from landing and a roaring fireplace to keep Santa out of the chimney.

Since you know him, where is Reality Speaks? Is he in a box under your tree?

Cats love trees just no breakable ornaments or tinsle. Tinsle is ok just expext a simver streamer under their tail if they are the type that eats it.

What I'll deposit at your front door won't pass for loot but it'll definitely suit you.

Yeah, fireplace is between the french doors. I used to have a 'significant other' that insisted on a real tree, 10' tall, every Christmas. I actually sold that house and built this one to get rid of him. But I was DONE with needles. My dogs don't shed. But the dog I loved the most, Merrygirl, the Chesapeake bay retriever, shed awlful and I brushed her every night! I do have a cool, lighted, gold pop-up 4' tree for indoors that looks good. Got it 75% off after Christmas 10 years ago. Ah, ha ha.

What's FKA as in reader stand for? Oh, great, that's a question to be debated on a Friday night after a few beers.
