You know, I don't care what artist you put up here, none of them have the talent, longevity, has made the contributions or will be remembered and loved as long as the king, Ray Charles. RIP.

No doubt you're the REAL dupe. Make any stupid post when you have absolutely nothing substancial to add.
Yes Annie you are right. That post about how you almost got to a Bob Seger concert in the 80's sure did add a lot to the discussion.

I saw Elvis Costello in 1977 at the KSU Rathskeller, just as his career was taking off. I saw Muddy Waters around that same time at the Finney Chapel in Oberlin.

I've seen Buddy Miller, Steve Earle, Todd Snider, and Richard Thompson numerous times.

I saw Billy Joe Shaver just a couple of months ago in Kent. I saw Fred Eaglesmith last summer. I saw Allison Krauss with Robert Plant several years ago.

I'm going to go see one of America's greatest living guitarists and songwriters, Justin Townes Earle tomorrow night.

So I am pleased that you informed us all that you almost saw Bob Seger 30 years ago. He used to play the dance hall at Gem Beach on Catawba Island long before he ever became a commercial success. Ted Nugent did too. I've seen both of them. But unlike all of the folks I just mentioned neither of them ever really put out music that deserved critical acclaim to match their popular commercial success.

So, that's nice that you almost saw Bob Seger.
