<quoted text>You are just dumb enough to believe that anyone who speaks in support of America's poor must be one of them. I assure you, Bob, I could buy you a hundred times over (though that probably wouldn't cost much).
Face the truth. You are among the ignorant, greedy and bigoted vermin who are trying to turn this country into a cesspool of Hitlerian hate. Ultimately you will fail, through self-destruction or evolution, whichever comes first.
If you have to brag.........you have nothing to brag about.

Seems to me anyone who spends as much time as you do on Topix hasn't the time to be a productive member of society.

On your first point, you're incorrect. When I worked at Chase, if you were a smoker you had to pay a higher premium. It may be the case that not all companies do this, but Chase does, I believe ECOT does and I'm sure many others.
I'm glad you feel that way. Shows your true colors. Only those lacking in morality and compassion would feel that way. And I'm okay with that, but just so we're on the same page. You = heartless angry man who doesn't care about others, only about yourself. Me = thinks beyond myself and has compassion towards others. Glad we're clear on that.
What's immoral about holding people personally responsible for their choices? If you had compassion, you wouldn't support those who are raping the taxpayers dry.

I"d say you'd have to be really "stupid " to pull that off, right dummy!
Liars, frauds and cheats can easily steal an election when the media brainwashes and campaigns for them 24/7. When the stupid and ignorant have multiplied enough to finally become the majority, the morons rule. That's why this country is sinking fast.

Oh, right...because it is not the "disadvantaged" who are eligible for taxpayer-funded Medicaid and SCHIP...and still do not enroll.

As for Bush, get over it. Your boy has been in office for more than four years and has ZERO positive to show for it. But man, that 4.4% unemployment rate under Bush in 2006 was a real killer, huh?
Oh, and you're avoiding the content of my post of Bushisms. I can understand.

No, my morality and compassion tells me to DO something to help my neighbors, not sit around belly-aching that someone else (or everyone else in your case) should pay for it. We have sheltered literally dozens of people for varying amounts of time over the years (mostly children and abused women) when they needed help. Never asked for (or demanded, as your kind seem to do) a dime of other peoples' money... EVER! So stick that up your ass and spin on it!

I know real information won't phase you, but for any eavesdroppers, gasoline prices were lower under Bush because we were in a near-depression. In Bush's last year in office, gasoline prices had gone up to $4.25 a gallon.

Once again Cabbage-brain, when Bush left office, unemployment was at 7.8%. Ask someone to re-read this sentence to you until you can process it.

The day the Democrats, Pelosi/Reid, took over the House of Representatives and the Senate was not January 22nd 2009 but was actually January 3rd 2007, the start of the 110th Congress. The Democratic Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995.

AT THE TIME:

* The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77

* The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%

* The Unemployment rate was 4.6%
----------
Of course, I don't ONLY blame the dems for the collapse, because BUSH was still President, and shares the blame too, but it should be noted that the Republicans had lost the Congress well BEFORE the collapse, and their influence had waned.

Gas went to $4.00 a gallon for two weeks in July, 2008. It was $1.84 in December, five month later. The 7.8% unemployment was in 2008. Now, which party controlled the House and the Senate from 2007-2011? Come on, boy...tell the truth.
