Poor poor Caribou Coffee went all green/social justice/enviro-justice in 2010, "MINNEAPOLIS (Apr. 13, 2010)- Caribou Coffee, the second-largest gourmet coffee retailer in the nation, is proud to announce that it is the first major U.S. coffeehouse committing to 100 percent Rainforest Alliance certification for all of its coffees - a goal the company has set to achieve by the end of 2011.
Rainforest Alliance certification, the most comprehensive sustainability certification developed to date, is managed by the Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN)- a coalition of independent, nonprofit conservation groups..."
That was then. Now, "(CNN)-- Minneapolis-based Caribou Coffee is closing 80 locations next week and plans to convert 88 others to Peet's Coffee & Tea shops within the next 18 months, the company announced Monday."
Haha. Prog-dom is so laughable.
