This is so typical...you can't tell me that the farmer didn't know that the guy was doing all of the abuse...he didn't notice the broken bones on their tails or the pitchfork marks?? He should have received something out of this. Atleast been ordered to do some type of back ground check on employees in the future as well.

How is it that everyone who posted thus far is somehow smarter than the Grand Jury who actually saw the evidence? Or at least the version that wasn't spliced together out of context like the article said...

I said all along that those who produced the tapes should be investigated deeper...it seemed to easy to show the things those tapes showed...and it wouldn't be uncommon at all to think that group has a hidden agenda . I am glad the jury was unbiased. I am not for abusing animals, but I don't think the group who recorded this has a record of integrity either.

Can we say "corrupt prosecutor"? It is HILARIOUS that those making threats are being investigated for possible charges under the federal Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act. The penalties under this act are more severe than those any of these employees could face and/or are facing under Ohio's animal cruelty laws. Beat a cow, you're cool. Threaten a cow beater, be labeled a TERRORIST and go to prison forever.

JBD - What?? A "hidden agenda?" You are seriously saying that the people who risked their lives to catch these abusers in the act should be investigated?

OF COURSE they have an agenda, you backwards idiot! There is NEVER cause to treat an animal that way!

Yes, go after those animal rights "nut jobs" for making threats against humans!! the Federal Enterprise Terrorism act, I like it! They think they can go around pounding thier chest and make death threats and other ideas, hold them accountable also. Justice is prevailing, YES!

So, it was ok that the "undercover" poked the animals with a pitchfork, as long as it was done to catch someone else abusing a cow?? Exactly how did anyone "risk their life" by making this video?? Finally, if what was reported by the animal rights group is accurate, why the need to splice a video together? Obviously, the grand jury was much smarter than the group making this video..

The pitchfork mark was from the undercover person though, so that can't be abuse seeing that person is trying to fight animail abuse, right?!?

Your correct all those groups have a hidden agenda. Just look at the Humane Society of America how they had that tape of the employee using the forklift to remove the dead cow, they turned that into a hiddeous act when it wasn't.

How is it the investigator can abuse animals with a pitchfork and not suffer the penalties for abuse. I don't care if you think abusing an animal in front of another abuser is to keep your true intentions under wraps. Thats disgusting and appalling. The investigator for the animal rights group should be prosecuted as well.
Additionally where does this animal rights group get off acting like their own private police group. If I were to pull something like that no doubt I would be arrested on numerous counts. Ridiculous!

I am very upset, as an owner of the facility he had to have known of the abuse, if not seen/been part of the abuse. People who hurt or abuse animals are one step away from hurting children. Even if he was not a part of the abuse, he certainly was not part of the solution. He is just as responsible for these actions. Disturbing. Its so easy it seems as of late for people to look away rather than get involved and help or make waves. This man should lose any right to have contact with animals.

So, I take it that I am aloud to walk down the street and, even though the animal may not belong to me (not that it should matter), and strike the animal or poke it with sharp objects.
