Good grief. No matter what he was afraid of it was not worth his life. Too bad. Lots of disturbed people out there who need a little help.
The truth will come out and then we will know. Still not much comfort to his loved ones.

Acually, he was a college educated young man, who was a productive citizen who probably made more money that most of you who posting these negative comments. He used to say important people would recongnize him from the perfect points of his entry into a room and he always stood on a square. God Bless you and your family.

I am not hear to pass judgement as I do not have all the facts. I knew him personally; his actions do not add up to the person I once knew. My question is for the Columbus PD, what really happened?

For Big Johnson: "Its been weeks since the cops shot a citizen!"

I don't think that the Columbus PD are a bunch of Cowboys, anyone they have shot, needed to be shot to protect the citizens, even you.....

My comment was not about the gentleman that shot himself, it was about South Side Junkie's rant. I pray for the gentlemans family as well as his soul. May God be with them.

This is not the man I know. He was polite, well educated, and had achieved something of his life. God rest your soul. Hope you find peace on the other side.

I just wanted to say God bless his soul, and the family that he leaves behind. He was a neighbor of mine, and even though I didn't know him personally, he always waved and said hello. All this just doesn't add up. It seemed like he had so much going for him. Something just isn't right about this. God bless.

"Do Tell" Do you know what this young man did for a living? Do you know his background? Did you graduate from the same university as him? Well I do know him! He was VERY educated and a sucessful business man that did great things for the community! People can be so insensitive and pass judgement so quickly. Be careful what u put out there for what goes around surely comes back around. As for this man he was honorable and although I dont know the jist of all that happened or what he was going through I grew up with him and I do know that the only person who should be sitting in the seat of judgement is God. If you dont have anything sensible to say "Do tell" then keep your ignorance to yourself!

Well than Run Tell That, who was he? I feel saddened that he felt this was his way out, but he had to be doing, or hiding something......

I knew him well also. This does not add up what so ever. He was a very intelligent, articulate, and outgoing person with a lot going for him. He will be missed by many. I do hope the Columbus PD looks into this thoroughly to make sure there was no foul play or extenuating circumstances.

A sad day indeed.

I agree with Good man, run tell that and From a Family Friend. He was well loved and liked by MANY and we are ALL in a state of shock and truly saddened by this sudden and senseless loss. So for one to speak in judgement or out of ignorance I want you to know that we really don't deserve it nor is it appreciated.

Perhaps he had the gun in his car and since he was stopped by the police tried to conceal it. could it have accidentally gone off, killing him? Just a thought....
