Its finally happening. In a few days, the Northland store will be listed as one of their locations in their TV ads. The store looks huge, and I look forward to being one of their steady customers.
Can't wait.

Just spit-ballin, but, I'd venture that not one soul will miss you and your negativity.

Kudos to Menards for bringing business to help improve any decaying neighborhood.

I am active member of the Salem Civic Association in the Northland area located between Morse Rd and Rt 161, and a long time home owner in that area. I am thrilled to finally see Northland becoming vibrant once again with the opening of Meynards. I was an employee of the Ohio Dept of Taxaton for 30+ years and was so excited about the possibility of them moving to the old Lazarus/Macy's building that I wanted to be a part of their move, so three years ago I went back for several seasons, due to budget cuts and the like I have not went back to work there, however I must admit I do miss it. Anytime there is new development in the area it is a welcoming site since property values in the northend have taken a steep dive in the last 5 years. It is sad to see Kohls go and I do hope that unlike the Northland Mall security is there for older residents that willl be using the facilities including not only Meynard, but the Vaud Vilities paviion and any new restarurants and other businesses that may settle in that area. Keep up the good work - I love the Northland area and am glad to see that the site is being reresurected once again. Its been a long 9 years of vast wasteland.

I agree w/ "who asked" - safety first. Every other business that was on that site was a ghost town due to black crime.

I visited the store and found security in the parking lot and throughout the store. Very safe.
