There may be an upside to having fat people around. During WW2 someone I knew who fought on the wrong side in Russia figured out how to survive by finding a place where there was fat people. It was a sure way, as he told me, to know that there was food around.

Summer Rules for Fatties....

1) The 5 food groups are veggies, fruit, dairy, grains and meat. The 5 food groups ARE NOT microwave popcorn, cheetos, chicken nuggets, chocolate and soda pop.

2) If you find it impossible to see your feet without leaning forward, please please DO NOT GO to public swimming pools, or to a public beach.

3) Please consider allowing use of electric shopping carts to those who MUST HAVE them. If you're able to waddle 30 yards to your car from a cart corral, obviously you don't need the assistance of an electric shopping cart.

4) Consider hiring the services of a fat farm, rather than watching endless episodes of pawn stars.

“Meh.”

Look on the positive. At least the food stamp, WIC and free school lunch programs are working and we are winning the war on hunger. The liberal of course (filled with righteous indignation) will say that obesity and hunger are not mutually exclusive but where else in the world are the poor obese? Certainly the poor living in the Sudan, Nigeria or Botswana are not obese.
Huh, kinda weird that places with proper European "socialism" like my rainy little home have obesity rates dramatically below those of those out there.

2012 obesity rates England: 9.5%
2012 obesity rates Ohio 30.1%

At least the good US of A is still number one at something. Good thing there's no proper welfare state back home, would be dreadful to have those impressive numbers brought down.

It would be off the scale. She fights vultures for food.

The Ohio State Fair brings out all the super obese who ride those motorized carts and can barely fit into them. Really hard on the eyes.

I saw one that was so fat even the nose had fat rolls. My eyes still hurt when that memory flashes back.

oh wait thats right diet and exercise have nothing to do with obesity according to "science".. http://www.theguardian.com/society/2006/oct/0...
It's gotta be "socialism" that prevents obesity... sure.
