<quoted text> well if you're going to try to make an unfair comparison based on what aha is supposed to be like rather than the reality of the past few months, be my guest. Try to make that lame argument while you still can because its only going to get harder for you to believe your own dog crap, let alone anybody else taking you seriously. We could compare actual results from the past two months or come back in a year or two and compare cost effectiveness. Remember when it wasn't a tax?? Now they take money from your bank account without your authorization. Fooey. http://inagist.com/all/412233158667829248/
All I'm saying is all the comparing to the canadian system is probably beating a dead horse.
Ummm...before you get your panties in a bunch over something you think I said, go back through this thread and see how the subject of Canada came up.

These shooters are representative of society moral breakdown, and impact of fantasy video games on young minds.

Firearms are not toys, but hold great recreation opportunities for families. Target shooting is a great exercise in mind and body control taking superior concentration to be excellent.

Using firearms in crime activity should have mandatory chain gang sentence of 10 years minimum. Prisoners will earn their keep or starve.

Jail is not difficult to avoid.

If murder is the end game, then public execution by rope is the remedy.
Rope is $10 and not $10,000,000 like Ohio spends for executions.

Don't like the punishment?.........that is the point. You are not supposed to.

“Meh.”

<quoted text> really. The UK is the standard? What about Mexico? There's a whole world out there....
If you move back through the thread you'll see that this was clarifying a short discussion on the value and effectiveness of gun control measures in combating crime. I would agree that looking at the range of gun control measures around the world is going to be useful. I'm most familiar with the US, UK, Japan and Aus but would be happy to discuss other outlooks, though I may have to rely on your wealth of knowledge.

gun control is good when keeping from the criminal element, and good for keeping law abiding citizens armed.

Root cause = crime by an individual.
No matter the political or religious beliefs you possess...we can agree crime is not a good thing.

punish root cause, and make sure society can protect themselves from those who refuse to abide by the law. The police are not 2 minutes away from all homes or businesses. Be prepared.

Tell me why above is NEVER debated as gun control measure?

Why ban an object, when it would immediately be replaced by another? And if a golf club is used to kill someone do we ban golf too? What about cars? how about knives?

How about actions have consequences, and some actions get you killed, or chained like an animal shoveling snow?

<quoted text> good thing nobody's gonna take your word for it. Every reply you post has no substance, just claims and insults...
That is not correct.
