Jerry Counelis gave long, rambling answers about his impartiality when asked basic questions by attorneys. When Circuit Judge Debra Nelson asked the panelist hopeful if he posted something to the Facebook page of pro-Martin group Coffee Party Progressives, he said ‘yes.’

Funny thing, the internet goggle search.

He lied his ass off but the defense busted him with a simple internet search.

Nope. It directly relates to gokeefe's post. If you knew the context, you'd have a clue.

Who cares? Zimmerman is an all-American hero who protected his neighborhood, his community and himself from a violent black thug.
He will be found innocent.

I don't know that either side was really interested in the guy. Hard to get clear answers from him.

But, also excused was the woman who said she thought that Zimmerman should never been arrested and that the prosecution would have to work really hard if they wanted to change her mind. Said a few ugly things about the Martin family as well.

But that's what the jury selection process is about, folks.

BTW--I'm not totally familiar with the Coffee Party Progessives, but it might be a bit of a stretch to call them a "pro-Martin group."

Full comment below:

"We are now aware of news reports that due to a comment on this page that one of the jurors in the Trayvon Martin case was removed from the jury. We have been called a "Pro-Trayvon Martin group." We are a progressive group that supports many issues, and the Trayvon Martin case is something we posted briefly on. According to the facts of the case so far as we understand them we do support Trayvon Martin, and feel that this was an unjustifiable possibly racially motivated murder. We do believe in the concept of an impartial jury, and what someone has posted on this page in a comment representing themselves we do not control. Please respect that this page's focus is mostly on issues of economic inequality, and so we will remove unrelated disparaging comments attacking our page."

err.

again your statement, followed by my reply copied from the coffee party facebook page.

"According to the facts of the case so far as we understand them we do support Trayvon Martin, and feel that this was an unjustifiable possibly racially motivated murder".

Your posting of the full comment (for whatever reason) does not change the fact that they clearly say they SUPPORT Martin, which conflicts with your statement.

Pay attention:
We do believe in the concept of an impartial jury, and what someone has posted on this page in a comment representing themselves we do not control.

They also note that they have a much broader purpose. Therefore, calling them a "Trayvon Martin justice group" is a real stretch.

I would imagine that their other note indicates that they have probably garnered a lot of attention from the online haters since yesterday.

I believe my attention is NOT what is needed here FKA Reader.

You DID NOT make a comment which included the verbiage "Trayvon Martin justice group"!!!

YOU SAID, "BTW--I'm not totally familiar with the Coffee Party Progressives, but it might be a bit of a stretch to call them a "PRO-MARTIN GROUP." Post #13

The Facebook for the Coffee party the page CLEARLY says,

"According to the facts of the case so far as we understand them WE DO SUPPORT Trayvon Martin, and feel that this was an unjustifiable possibly racially motivated murder".

I was referring to the header on this thread, which uses the term "Trayvon Martin justice group." Sorry for the confusion.

But again, their own explanation of purpose places their opinion regarding this case as merely an aside, rather than defining the group.

I continue to believe that the header here is inflammatory, and deceitfully so.

I also suggest that the juror is not one that either side was eager to bring in.
