You just used that post to lecture me on "proper English and sentence structure."
I hope you never stop posting. You provide the most unintentional comedy of any poster I have ever seen. The more smug you get, the more mistakes you make and it seems redundant to even reply. I do reply though because I want to keep this train rolling.

either you are just lazy, or stupid.
which is it?
I don't understand. Why don't you use Google and provide proof of your silly statement? That's typically how it goes around here. One would think that if you had support for your statement you would just copy the link here. Even you are saying it shouldn't be hard to do. I wonder why you don't.

Science suggests it is much less than 100%. Whatever the case, the one thing that is certain is that you couldn't correctly figure it out.

Well, I'm not seeing economic collapse on the horizon either.

But, just in terms of perspective, I don't recall "battles" as a result of the Depression.

What point of "I'm broke and a lawsuit would get me fired and bankrupted" do you not understand?
You cannot have it both ways, Karl.

You claim that all the right, legally, is on your side. You claim they would be laughed out of court.

But, you caved before it even got to court.

And btw--wouldn't your "right to parody" prevent you from being fired?

And, if you are broke, would you not qualify for a public defender? or is that just in criminal cases?

“Meh.”

Facts are always important! If your opinions aren't based on a genuine and noble attempt to find the truth, you're just blindly thrashing about, fuelled by your feelings.

Did you not decry the lack of facts your intellectual opponents carry, in the gun thread?

Then why did you accuse Artist of inciting one?
Because he keeps making noises about how a bunch of us are going to be really sorry when the revolution/civil war comes. But how he's ready.

Watch the videos of NYSP bureaucrats at town hall meetings over the new gun ban, hundreds of people were outright saying to TPTB that they would not comply, and would either be sent to prison or start a shooting war.
Then note all of the county governments condemning the law.
And if we flip over to the West Coast, open violation of Amendment IV was proposed in WA state, and confiscation of 200K registered guns is on the table in CA.
You, of course, do not count yourself among those willing to start a shooting war.

My label of "the most dangerous poster" is from Reader herself.
Reader has basically been open with her desires to have me hauled into court via either civil or criminal action.
Because I make posts of an inconvenient nature...
Really, I would love to see a direct quotation those.

Predicting that when one breaks the law they will be taken to court is a very different thing, by the way, than desiring to have someone hauled into court (in response to "inconvenient" posts).

The US Constitution was written in plain English for a reason, and is very easy to determine what is OK and what is not.
In 1787, one could declare oneself a lawyer without any credentials, just like being a doctor.
Law school is a 19th century invention.
That law degree DOES NOT MAKE YOU A SUPERIOR CLASS OF CITIZEN GET THAT THROUGH YOUR THICK ELITIST SKULL
Having a medical degree and license also don't make someone a better class of citizen.

However, I am far more likely to seek medical advice from such a person than some random person posting their opinions on Topix.

Just sayin'

Apparently neither did your degree in, whatever it was.

She prefers it with breakfast because waiting for fresh at night makes her cranky.

Cleveland eviction riot of 1933 bears similarities to current woes

February 1931

"Food riots" begin to break out in parts of the U.S. In Minneapolis, several hundred men and women smash the windows of a grocery market and make off with fruit, canned goods, bacon, and ham. One of the store's owners pulls out a gun to stop the looters, but is leapt upon and has his arm broken. The "riot" is brought under control by 100 policemen. Seven people are arrested.

March 1932

Three thousand unemployed workers march on the Ford Motor Company's plant in River Rouge, Michigan. Dearborn police and Ford's company guards attack the workers, killing four and injuring many more.

July 1932

On July 28, when some "bonus Army" members resist being moved from their camps, violence erupts, leading to the deaths of two veterans. Hoover orders Federal troops, under the command of General Douglas MacArthur, to assist D.C. police in clearing the veterans.

A person is only entitled to a court appointed attorney if the end result of the case includes potential incarceration or in the case of the government removing a parent's children.
