But regardless, the avg. price of gas WAS $1.85 to $1.89 in January of 2009 and NOW it is what it is. And Obama was supposed to be the anti-Bush, the opposite. But everything's the same or worse.

just wait till QE4 is implemented

the american dollar does not buy what it used to.

gas is soon to be 20% higher, just because the dollar does not buy overseas what it did in 2012.

if re-elected...in 2016 gas will be $6.50 minimum per gallon.

every thing we import will go up in like manner.

keep borrowing and printing....then tax the heck out of us.

that will fix it.

that will fix it so this country survived 240 years prior to complete collapse.

Obama has been the biggest joke of a fraud amateur President that's ever been. He should've never made it out of the primary and if he hadn't Hillary would be Prez and things wouldn't be near as bad as they are now. Obama was supposed to be the antidote to Bush and nothing's changed. Soldiers still over there dying, extremely high unemployment, still high gas prices, and still high grocery prices.

However bad it was under Bush, it's been even worse under Obama.

I'm always a little weirded out when I see Americans complaining about how expensive their very cheap gas is.

Though, the perception that the price is unreasonable could eventually result in some much needed public transport infrastructure being developed.

Sure...we'll get right on that public transportation in Maine and Montana. Or rural Ohio.
You really are clueless.

We don't seek to become a high-priced, high-taxed country, such as the one you reside in. MYOB.

I'll bet the price of most things went up.
For example the drought areas of the United States.
Food prices went up & foods we import all the time.
And you all want to blame the President, no matter who he is.
Hey dummy...name one other non-agricultural commodity that has done up 125% in three years.
